Laminated Patents (Class 248/627)
  • Patent number: 10570984
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to a novel system, device, and methods for providing an isolator for components and instrumentation to isolate vibrations, shock, static or quasi-static loads, thermal loads, and electrical currents. The novel isolator has an asymmetrical shape, experiences uniform motion under quasi-static loading, and reduces the effective modal mass across a range of frequencies. The novel isolator outperforms conventional vibration isolators in terms of cost, schedule (manufacturing time and lead time), heat dissipation, and performance.

  • Patent number: 9769974
Abstract: A C-spring contains an inner spring that is spaced apart from the outer primary spring. In one example usage, the upper and lower legs of the C-spring have rear regions respectively configured for being mounted to a tubular frame tool frame member of a ground working implement, such as a disk, and to a bearing housing.

  • Patent number: 7553533
Abstract: The present invention relates to an absorbent covering having high damping power, the covering being secured to a structure (20) and being provided with an absorbent layer (10) of elastic material (4). Remarkably, said absorbent layer (10) comprises a dissipater mesh arranged in the elastic material (4) and constituted by a plurality of nodes (2) and of dissipater elements (1), which dissipater elements are advantageously elliptical in shape.
