  • Patent number: 12006092
Abstract: The present application relates to a steel-pipe-embedded structure for a packaging and transportation box of a reel, and relates to a field of a pallet of the packaging and transportation box of the reel, which includes a pallet body embedded with a steel pipe and integrally formed with a steel pipe channel for receiving the steel pipe, in which both ends of the steel pipe channel are closed. In the present application, because the steel pipe can support the pallet body, a strength and a bearing capacity of the pallet body can be effectively improved. Further, a possibility of deformation caused by long term use is reduced, and an exposure of the steel pipe can be effectively avoided, so that a corrosion of the steel pipe is effectively reduced.

  • Patent number: 7918432
Abstract: This invention relates to a support or hanger utilizing a conical spring washer or set of conical spring washer displaying variable load characteristics. When installed, both types (support or hanger) allow for small movements in pipe, ductwork or equipment (PDE), thus, allowing for the thermal growth of PDE. Conventionally, helical coil spring supports are chosen to meet the load capacities of PDE but are reluctantly used because of their large size. By using conical spring washer s, the size of the support is substantially reduced making it a more useable device. A smaller, more compact design proves to increase the support/hanger's application making it more stable to place under piping and even under reciprocating motion equipment like generators and pumps. For small displacements, it is found that this invention behaves in the same manor as a conventional helical coil spring support under the same applied loads.

  • Patent number: 7798464
Abstract: This is a mounting support that secures an electrostatic marking machine to the deck of a ship or other structure. This support provides vibration-isolating systems for shipboard mounting of these marking machines. The US Navy has imposed strict one-man, short-time requirements to mount and unmount electrostatic marking machines on a ship's deck. A key feature of the present embodiments is a double-threaded stud that lifts the machine off the floor onto the isolation mounts while securing it to the mount which is bolted to the ship's deck. The present configuration satisfies the new Navy mandate.

Abstract: A method for machining particularly spectacle lenses by means of a machine which comprises at least one cutting unit and at least one turning unit in a common working space, wherein at least two spectacle lenses are machined at the same time in the working space, one of said spectacle lenses being cut while the other is turned. The machine frames of the cutting unit and of the turning unit are essentially decoupled from one another in terms of vibration and/or at least two machining units of the machine comprise workpiece spindle units for generating a transverse movement of the spectacle lens to be machined with respect to the respective tool, the workpiece spindle units being arranged essentially perpendicular to one another. As a result, it is possible for spectacle lenses to be machined in an extremely short time with high machining performance and with high surface precision and quality.
