    Abstract: An interchangeable, self-locking, cable gripping and adaptive anchoring apparatus comprising a gripping component and adaptor component. The housing holds cable gripping elements comprising a spring, spacer and two jaws, within a tapering bore of the housing. At the dispatching end, the housing comprises an internal bore for engaging around the connector side of the adaptor component. The gripping component is spring-loaded and self-locking for securing a cable. The pressure of the adaptor component connector side against the spring, spacer and jaws, lock the inserted cable in place to only allow the cable to move in one direction. The adaptor component engages flush against the housing and securely to contain the housing components.

    Abstract: A exhaust system repair apparatus provides a basic u-bolt member and saddle clamp design which can be positioned behind an existing damaged flange, one which cannot be tightened against an opposing flange in order to create an exhaust seal. The apparatus features ears which are attached to and positioned proximal to the u-bolt base. Each ear further comprises a slot to align with an opposing, existing flanges'holes. Slots are available which are exactly positioned for a given application, or the elongated slots are provided in other embodiments which provide a more universal fit. The apparatus thereby provides for tightening the damaged flange against an undamaged opposing flange, without having to replace a damaged flange.

The top plate is defined by an L-beam folded spring plate comprised of first and second plate parts disposed generally in parallel and joined at a living hinge flex joint so that said plate parts each have a free end edge remote from said flex joint, the free end edges being spaced apart to define a gap therebetween without preload.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a device for holding at least two oblong articles, comprising a receiving part (4) and spring elements (8, 9, 12, 15, 22, 23) for fixing the articles. A spring element is configured as a movable locking tongue (15) which on its free end is provided with a receiving section (16) and an articulated element (17). While the first article is introduced, the free end is displaced into the deflected position when the articulated element (17) contacts the first article. When the first article comes to rest on an abutment section (20, 21), the receiving section (16) encloses the first articles to such an extent that the locking tongue (15) and, as a result, the articulated element (17) forming an abutment for the second article, is fixed in the rest position. The inventive device allows to hold articles at a relatively large distance to each other and to repeatedly remove them from and reinsert them into the device.

    Abstract: A remotely installable piping support attachment assembly employs a T-bolt type fastener for clamping a relatively smaller instrumentation pipe, e.g., the jet pump sensing line, to the wall of an adjacent structure. The attachment assembly includes a T-bolt, a split pipe clamp support, a ratchet nut with peripheral ratchet teeth, and a ratchet lock washer. When the nut is tightened on the threaded shank of the T-bolt, a top plate and an anchor of the split pipe clamp support are pressed together to clamp the jet pump sensing line therebetween. The top plate is defined by an L-beam folded spring plate comprised of first and second plate parts disposed generally in parallel and joined at a living hinge flex joint so that said plate parts each have a free end edge remote from said flex joint, the free end edges being spaced apart to define a gap therebetween without preload.
