  • Patent number: 7284731
Abstract: A clamp for a sanitary fitting includes a first and a second semicircular part that are circumscribed by a flexible cable tie. Each semicircular part has a concave side and a convex side. A channel is formed in each concave and each convex side. The concave channels accommodate a flange of a sanitary fitting when the first and second semicircular parts are disposed in confronting relation to one another. The cable tie positioned in the convex channels circumscribes the confronting semicircular parts. A cable tie catch slidingly receives a free end of the cable tie when the cable tie circumscribes the first and second semicircular parts. A marker on the cable tie registers with the catch or another marker on the cable tie when the cable tie is under a predetermined amount of tension to ensure that the same amount of tension is consistently applied to the cable tie.

  • Patent number: 6561466
Abstract: A support mechanism for selected sizes and numbers of cylindrical members includes a pair of substantially identical covers providing a first cavity between them, and pairs of substantially identical opposed interlocked inserts disposed in the first cavity, each of the pairs of inserts providing a second cavity to support and retain a cylindrical member. Each of the covers and inserts comprises a male fitting extending from one end and a female receptacle disposed in the other end, such that when covers and inserts are reversed top-to-bottom and end-for-end, respective male fittings engage respective female fittings to interlock covers and inserts together. Pairs of inserts can be in one or two stacks. A pair of substantially identical adapters, each comprising the same male and female fittings, extends the distance between covers to accommodate a second stack of inserts.

  • Patent number: 6513765
Abstract: The electrical conduit support device is a single planar piece designed to hold two electrical conduits such that their lengthwise dimensions are parallel and their separation corresponds to the standard separation of apertures for conduits on electrical junction boxes. In the first embodiment, the device has two apertures to accommodate conduits and a third aperture for a support rod. Each aperture has an annular sleeve extending from the main body of the conduit support which serves to keep the axis of each conduit perpendicular to the top surface of the conduit support, and which provides added support for the conduits and support rod. An optional tab can be added at one edge of the support device for attachment to another support. Other embodiments change the configuration of the basic circular apertures by forming slits, clips or splines to accommodate conduits and support rods of slightly different diameters to still achieve the parallel conduit relationship.

Flexible tabs extending from either end of the slider bracket allow attachment of the bracket to an outer stud surface, or within the stud spacing in any desired orientation. Each double ratchet arm pipe clamp is received by the slider bracket and is movable along the length of the slider bracket until a pipe is clamped therein. The clamping action both secures the pipe in place within the clamp, and also forces a resilient insert downward against the bottom wall of the slider bracket to anchor the clamp in position within the slider bracket.
