Folded Hose Patents (Class 248/90)
  • Publication number: 20150102184
Abstract: A folding hose storage rack is disclosed. The rack includes two spaced apart support members with each support member having a vertical member configured to rotate about a vertical axis, an upper arm extending outward from the vertical member, a lower arm extending outward from the vertical member, where the lower arm is aligned under the upper arm, and a boss along a lower edge of the lower arm. In addition, the rack includes a retainer having intersecting slots such that each slot is configured to receive the boss to prevent the support member from rotating. Each support member is configured to lift up to remove the boss from the intersecting slots, rotate to a desired position, and lower down to insert the boss into a desired slot of the intersecting slots. The intersecting slots form a T-configuration to rotate and secure each supporting arm to either side.

  • Patent number: 8668173
Abstract: A bracket arrangement for securing fertilizer hoses, such as those for carrying anhydrous ammonia, to the frame of a fertilizer applicator or similar implement is made of a corrosion resistant material and is thus resistant to damage caused by thermal changes, sunlight, and inclement weather. The bracket arrangement is designed to be removably attached to the implement frame to allow flexibility in where along the frame the hoses, or bundles of hoses, are retained. The bracket arrangement includes a bracket having an elongated and generally planar body with an eyelet formed in the planar body. The eyelet is configured to pass a length of hose and restrict movement of the hose in a direction orthogonal to its length.

  • Patent number: 7415988
Abstract: A tank jacket that has a top portion and a body portion made of a durable flexible material such as nylon is dimensioned to fit over the outside of a storage tank. The top portion includes a hole for receiving the regulator assembly. Specifically, the regulator assembly is removed from the tank, typically by unscrewing the assembly from the tank, and the jacket is fit over the tank so that the hole aligns with the tank's fill/dispense port. The regulator assembly is then reattached to the tank to retain the jacket on the tank. The tank jacket supports a hose support assembly for storing the supply hose and a plurality of pockets for retaining various accessories and tools.

  • Patent number: 7195031
Abstract: A gauge protector that fits over the regulator assembly of a tank and includes a first housing section defining a first cavity for receiving the regulator and a second housing section defining a second cavity for receiving the pressure gauge. The first and second housing sections provide shock protection for the gauge and regulator. The first and second housing sections are rigidly connected to one another and mounted on the regulator assembly such that a force applied to the gauge is at least partially absorbed by the gauge protector and regulator assembly. As a result the force on the gauge is lessened and the integrity of the connection between the gauge and the regulator is maintained.
