  • Patent number: 8733399
Abstract: A needle valve that adjusts the flow of liquid fluid and an open/close valve that makes it possible to fully close a flow path of the liquid fluid are accommodated inside a casing of a flow adjusting valve. The needle valve is provided with a reciprocating movement section that adjusts the flow of the liquid fluid by moving a needle valve piece toward and away from the valve seat. The open/close valve is provided with an opening/closing section that utilizes a basal outer surface of the needle valve piece facing the valve seat as a fully-closing valve piece and that reciprocatingly moves the fully-closing valve piece, independently of the reciprocating movement section, between a closed position, where the fully-closing valve piece is in close contact with the valve seat, and an open position, where the fully-closing valve piece is moved away from the valve seat.

  • Patent number: 8727307
Abstract: A valve has a first duct and a second duct at right angles to the first duct. The first duct opens into a connecting portion of the second duct, defining an intersection that forms a seat for a valve disk that slides in the connecting portion in a direction at right angles to the seat between a closed position and an open position. The connecting portion has two flat walls facing one another and connected by an end wall. The first duct opens onto one of the flat walls. The end wall partially surrounds the valve disk parallel to the a direction of sliding at a distance from an edge of the valve disk that is such that, for the open position, the end wall defines with the edge of the valve disk and the seat a passage.

Abstract: Disclosed in the invention is a throttle valve, which comprises two sealing elements whose contact surfaces keep in sealing and matching state, the two sealing elements can move relative to the valve. An inlet (111, 211, 311) and an outlet (121, 221, 321) of the valve are provided on the two sealing elements (11, 21, 31, 12, 22, 32), respectively. A semi-conical adjusting chamber (112, 212, 312, 122, 222, 322) is provided on each of the contact surfaces of the two sealing elements. The sharp ends of the adjusting chambers face to each other and communicate with the inlet and the outlet, respectively. When the contact surfaces of the two semi-conical adjusting chambers overlap at least partly, the two adjusting chambers constitute a passage communicating the inlet with the outlet. The throttle valve can realize greatly proportionally and accurately adjusting, is pressure resistant and wearable, and is suitable for use in slurry delivery pipelines and liquid or other fluid delivery pipelines.

Abstract: A temperature control system for a gas appliance utilizes an improved variable orifice gas flow modulating valve capable of direct modulation of gas flow through an orifice directly into a gas burner to provide a constantly maintained temperature in an appliance working compartment, as selected by human interface via a temperature selector. An actuator attached to a gas fitting body of the valve provides for linear movement of a metering pin into the taper inside the orifice, accomplishing the variable controlled modulated flow of gas directly into the burner. The actuator is controlled by an input signal from a programmable controller whose output is determined by calculations based on inputs from a temperature selector and a temperature sensor located in the gas appliance working compartment.
