Actuator At Each Corner Patents (Class 269/117)
  • Patent number: 10944354
Abstract: A solar tracker bearing apparatus mountable to an upright support post for rotatably supporting a torque tube beam of a solar tracker assembly and including: a rotatable bearing assembly supported for rotation about an axis of rotation by a stationary saddle assembly. The rotatable bearing assembly includes a central portion and first and second spaced apart arcuate peripheral portions, the central portion defining a torque tube beam slot, the first arcuate peripheral portion including a first arcuate rim bearing and the second arcuate peripheral portion including a second arcuate rim bearing, and the first and second rim bearings being spaced apart in a direction parallel to the axis of rotation of the rotatable bearing assembly. The stationary saddle assembly includes a first arcuate bearing race slidably supporting the first arcuate rim bearing and a spaced apart second arcuate bearing race slidably support the second arcuate rim bearing.

  • Patent number: 10634323
Abstract: A tool holder clamp fits over the suction hose or intake nozzle of a vacuum pumper truck. The clamp takes the form of two or more C-shaped sections that can bolt together over the hose, with each C-shaped section having one or more through bores serving as sockets for holding a tool such as a flashlight or the head or nozzle of a jet hose. The sockets have associated slots to permit the socket to be snugged down against the tool.

  • Patent number: 5666809
Abstract: A hydraulic circuit for opening and closing of a folding roof has at least two (pairs of) cylinders, one of which is adapted to open and close the folding roof and the other of which is adapted to lock the roof upon closing. The hydraulic circuit also has electrically operated valves provided in the circuit in such a way that the closing pressure within the roof cylinder is released rapidly as soon as the front roof edge gets within the catching area of the lock member, after which the lock cylinder will immediately close. This prevents the roof from moving in the closing direction too far, which would involve the tendency of the roof to "spring back", and avoids the chance of "miscatching" by the lock member.

  • Patent number: 4838530
Abstract: Apparatus for handling large heavy components of motor vehicles includes a movable cart having a top planar surface member and a hydraulic lift mounted to the cart. The hydraulic lift carries on the upper end portion of the smallest piston a head apparatus which includes a plurality of movable and adjustable arms with an angle member on one end of each arm. The head apparatus is adjustable to engage the contour of the component to be handled. An adapter is mountable on the piston rod for use in handling a fuel tank containing fuel when work thereon is necessary.Fixed to one end of the cart are supports for a sleeve that can pivot through 360 degrees. The cart also carries a tank into which fluids flow from said motor vehicle and the component. The component to be handled, when lowered to the top planar surface, is maneuvered to a position and secured by an arcuate member that is mounted to a shaft slidable in the sleeve.

  • Patent number: 4767984
Abstract: A protective fixture for a flat chip carrier comprises a flat fixture body having a recess in one surface thereof which receives the body of the chip carrier so that the leads extending from the edges of the chip carrier project towards the edges of the fixture body. Tool clearance openings are provided which extend through the fixture body and are located between the chip carrier and the edges of the fixture body so that the leads extend into and partially across the clearance openings. The tool clearance openings permit the performance of various operations on the leads and on the integrated circuit such as trimming and forming of the leads and testing of the circuit in the chip carrier. The leads are fully protected and it is not necessary to remove the chip carrier from the fixture until it is assembled to a circuit board or the like.

  • Patent number: 4507836
Abstract: An access door is constituted by an outer framework adapted to be fitted in a rough opening formed in a building ceiling, wall, or the like, an inner framework set in an opening in the outer framework, a cover plate secured to the inner framework so as to close an opening in the inner framework, a pair of bearings and axis for pivotally connecting the inner framework to the outer framework, and a locking means for locking the inner framework to the outer framework when the inner framework closes the opening in the outer framework. The bearings are projected on one framework of the opposite inner surfaces of the outer framework and the opposite outer surfaces of the inner framework, and have U-shaped bearing surfaces. The axis are projected on another framework of the opposite inner surfaces of the outer surfaces of the inner framework, and pivotally supported to the bearings, respectively.
