Adjustment Means Intermediate Ends Of Side Patents (Class 269/121)
  • Patent number: 6209859
Abstract: A frame comprising four angles each angle having two legs, each leg connected to a a leg of a neighboring angle wherein locations of attachment of the legs are adjustable so as to accommodate a range of sizes of boards for a surface mount manufacturing process. One leg of each angle has a tongue and the other leg has a groove so that tongue of one leg slideably engages the groove of the leg of a neighboring angle to enable adjustment in size of the frame opening. The board is supported on a shoulder around the frame opening with the surface of the board opposite the supporting shoulder surface coplanar with the plane surface of the frame. A flat spring loaded rotatable finger on the plan surface in one corner of the board urges the board toward the opposite corner of the frame.

  • Patent number: 5562933
Abstract: An adjustable clamping frame used in a vacuum forming machine comprising two longitudinal frame members disposed in spaced parallel relation to one another and two transverse frame members disposed in spaced parallel relation to one another. The two longitudinal frame members are perpendicular to the two transverse frame members. The longitudinal frame members have elongated slots for receiving the opposite ends of the two transverse frame members. The elongated slots permit selective sliding movement of the transverse frame members within the longitudinal frame members for varying the spacing between the transverse frame members in order to accommodate varying sizes of plastic sheets to be molded. The elongated slots also permit removal of each transverse frame member by rotation of each transverse frame member out of the elongated slots of the longitudinal frame members.

  • Patent number: 4097035
Abstract: An adjustable clamping frame for clamping the peripheral edges of a sheet of plastic material during the plasticizing and vacuum forming thereof, such frame including a first pair of parallel side elements having clamping elements mounted thereon and being selectively adjustable toward and away from one another to vary the spacing therebetween, and a second pair of side elements selectively mountable in any of a plurality of facing slots spaced along the length of the first pair of side elements.

  • Patent number: 4027866
Abstract: A multi-face clamp for wood working which comprises a clamping unit including a plurality of corner pieces. Each of the corner pieces defines at least two pressure faces which are adapted to engage complementary faces of a work piece. Two threaded bolts extend from and are operatively connected with the corner pieces. One of the threaded bolts has threads formed in an opposite direction from those of the other of the threaded bolts. A turn-buckle is disposed between each pair of adjacent corner pieces and receives in its inner threads the respective free end portions of the threaded bolts, so that upon turning of the turn-buckle the pressure faces of the corner piece exert pressure upon the complementary faces of the work piece.
