  • Patent number: 10559234
Abstract: A surface-variable pixilated visual block display system includes a pegboard having a regular array of apertures, arranged in perpendicular rows and columns, and a plurality of blocks, each of which has six faces. A generally square base face is equipped with a central peg having an axis that is normal to that face, and that fits within any of the apertures. The base face is surrounded by four intersecting quadrilateral side faces. A sixth generally rectangular top face, which intersects the side faces, is non-parallel to the base face. It is contemplated that the blocks can be colored differently. Intersecting edges of the faces are preferably radiused and corners of the block are preferably double radiused. Pegboard apertures are spaced so that each block can spin about the peg axis without physically touching adjacent blocks whose side faces are either mutually perpendicular or mutually parallel.

  • Patent number: 9370711
Abstract: Displayed on a screen are: a game field having a plurality of squares; and panels which are respectively associated with a plurality of players and each of which is provided with one or more connecting portions for forming a combined state with another panel. A panel is selected in accordance with an operation performed by each player. In accordance with the operation performed by each player, square selection selects, from the game field, a square on which the panel is to be placed. Panel placing places, on the square selected by the square selection, the panel selected by the panel selection. Combined state determination determines whether or not panels, associated with a same player, among a plurality of panels placed on the game field have formed a predetermined combined state via the connecting portions. Evaluation evaluates the predetermined combined state which the combined state determination has determined to have been formed.

Abstract: Children and adults are often seen collecting shells at the beach. Most don't know the name of the shell or anything about it. There's a need to create interest and education about seashells. There is literature which identifies seashells but nothing in the form of a game which would spark that interest. I've invented a seashell game geared for specific geographic locations that identifies indigenous seashells. The game consists of a plastic board with several indentations for specific shells to be placed into. A picture of that shell, its name and interesting information is printed next to the appropriate indentation. The object of the game is for players to fill each indentation with the proper shell within a time limit. The game provides a fun way to learn about seashells and occupy one's time while at the beach. Once filled, the game can be displayed in home, school or office.
