Abstract: A multi-target ball toss game and method of playing is played by players on opposing teams standing behind their respective elongated boxes. The boxes are subdivided into a number of discrete target areas. Each target area has a lid that covers and uncovers the target, depending on whether the ball hits the target area. In play, the players take turns tossing balls towards the opposing targets. If the balls fall into the target area, the corresponding lid is closed over the target area. The winning player or team of players is the first player or team that closes all of the lids over the intended targets. The game provides an overtime feature in which both front lids are opened for overtime, and if double overtime both second lids are opened, and if third overtime, third lids are opened, and so forth.

Abstract: A football throwing game having a two-piece game board divided vertically in half and having a first side and a second side. The two sides are hinged together and folded when in a stored position and unfolded and set upright when playing the game. The game board includes a plurality of ball target openings having a diameter greater than a diameter of the football for receiving the football therethrough. A back of the game board can include a net for catching the football when received through one of the target openings. Also, the back of the game board includes two foldable legs for holding the game board upright and at an angle to the vertical.

Abstract: This invention is a projectile and target game that can employ beverage drinking, as well as a related method of use. The invention is adapted to allow at least three teams of players to participate in the game at a given time. The game includes a game surface that would be able to accommodate at least three distant sets of projectile receivers mounted above it. At least one projectile, such as a ping pong ball, that would be used to hit or land inside one of the projectile receivers.

The apparatus is constructed of a frame, for example of aluminum tubing. A net is attached to or hung over the aluminum tubing to provide a series of pouches aligned horizontally at various heights. These pouches provide target areas for a ball. The pouches may be designed to allow the ball to drop from a pouch it enters into a second pouch or to the bottom of the device for easy removal. The device is held by a base that may have wheels and may be steadied by one or more transverse supports running across the bottom or the back of the base.

Abstract: An air actuated ball game which utilizes a table-like member having an exterior frame supporting a circular top surface. The top surface has a plurality of holes therethrough and is divided into equal segments each having a different color. Air from a fan or similar air generating means is compelled through the holes for moving sets of balls, each set of balls having a different color, around the top surface of the table-like member. Each of the sets of balls has a color which matches one of the segments. As balls move around the top surface, players must retrieve certain balls which drop into openings in each segment and bounce the balls into a cup located at the center of the top surface. Various rules of play are anticipated based on these basic game components.

Abstract: A slingshot-like skill game device comprises a body and a handle attached to the body. The body includes an opening designed to permit a ball to pass therethrough. When the slingshot-like skill game device is outfitted with a ball attached thereto by an elongated elastic cord, a user may grasp the handle with one hand, grasp the ball with another hand, pull the ball away from the body, and then release the ball with the object of getting the ball to pass through the opening on release. A ring-shaped insert may be attached to the opening, so as to decrease the diameter of the opening and thereby increase the level of difficulty required for a user of the slingshot-like skill game device to get the ball to pass through the opening. Additional ring-shaped inserts of varying diameters may also be provided to further increase the level of difficulty for a user of the slingshot-like skill game device. Abstract: Description: A table top pitching or tossing game which may be played indoors or outdoors. A single game board consisting of a raised board covered in carpet which has three holes in vertical alignment. These holes are lined with plastic or PVC pipe which forms pockets for scoring. Each hole is assigned a different point value for scoring. The scoring board is contained in, and attached to, a larger wooden tray shaped box (game board) which acts as a gutter or catch area for projectiles that bounce or roll off the scoring board. Players stand a distance, usually 6 feet, from the front of the game board and pitch washer shaped projectiles at the scoring pockets. The point value of the (pockets) can vary with the game being played. However in the preferred embodiment the pocket values are 1 point for the closest, 3 points for the center pocket and 5 points for the farthest pocket.

The golfer aims along the target direction and executes a golf swing to strike the ball from the teeing point. The actual direction of travel of the struck ball is determined. An azimuth difference is determined between the target direction and the actual direction of travel of the struck ball. The tilt angle of the teeing surface is varied about the tilt axis based upon the azimuth difference between the target direction and the actual direction of travel of the struck ball.

Baseball would be played outdoors with four standards forming a diamond. The homeplate standard would be without a hoop and serves to hold the spiderball, which would be hit with a lightweight bat.

The panels can be made resilient and elastic to rebound any ball that does not enter the pocket.

Abstract: An outdoor game apparatus has a pair of concrete game surfaces formed on the ground a predetermined distance from each other with each game surface having a plurality of openings therein spaced in a predetermined relationship. Each concrete game surface has a predetermined score mark adjacent each opening therein and each opening has a drainage opening in the bottom thereof to drain water therefrom. Each of a plurality of plastic game discs has a piece of ferric metal formed therein and is sized to fit into each opening in the game surface so that a player standing adjacent one concrete game surface can throw the game disc towards the other game surface for scoring points when the disc goes in one of the openings. The game includes a pair of elongated wands, each having a permanent magnet attached to the end thereof for each player to selectively retrieve a game disc from an opening in the concrete game surface by magnetically adhering to the ferric metal formed in the disc.

Cross braces are secured between the frame structure and the backboard in order to give rigidity to the frame. Side deflection structure deflects balls which are moving to the left or right, away from the system and guiding them into the guiding net. This deflecting structure may comprise nets. A basketball net is positioned above the narrow port and a bendable tubular guiding member, which comprises a bendable tubular member has a spiral backbone and a skin secured to the spiral backbone, is coupled to the narrow port and configured to receive a ball and guide it toward a player using the inventive basketball practice system is disclosed.

The apparatus includes two tapered, generally cylindrical containers with a slot in their sides and a disc with dull edges. When the disc tossing game is played in a yard or a park, the containers may have an open top and a closed bottom with the top having a larger diameter than the bottom. When the disc tossing game is played on a beach or indoors, e.g., in an indoor gymnasium, the containers may have an open top and an open bottom where the top has a smaller diameter than the bottom. The players always have an option as to which container is used in any type of playing situation. When the disc tossing game is played, the two containers are placed at a distance from each other and the disc is tossed at each of the containers in turn with each toss being scored and a winner being declared when one of two two-player teams reaches a score of exactly twenty-one.
