  • Patent number: 11946546
Abstract: The seal spring of the present invention has a dual functionality. The seal spring provides both a sealing property and spring function in use within an electrical connector system, which is accomplished by its elastomeric qualities. The seal spring is preferably comprised of Silicone, EPDM rubber or materials and compositions that provide similar performance during use, or the like. The seal spring of the present invention is not limited or defined into a spring section or a seal section by its geometry. Shown is an implementation of the seal spring within an outer housing and connector assembly. The seal spring compresses and provides adequate spring force against a tab or tabs within the outer housing. The seal spring also functions as an interface seal and an environmental seal during use. The seal spring is, substantially, in its entirety, of a contiguous and continuous single construction. No part or section of the seal spring is made up of welded, soldered, or brazen part or section.

  • Patent number: 8414032
Abstract: An automatic discharge connection device of a submersible pump is provided, which includes a coupling member coupled to a discharge port of the submersible pump and a feed pipe that feeds water discharged from the submersible pump. A sealing member is installed in an annular concave portion formed on an inner circumference of the coupling member in such a way as to move left and right. When the submersible pump is actuated, the sealing member moves toward the feed pipe and an end portion of the sealing member enters the feed pipe. Accordingly, a space between the coupling member and the feed pipe is sealed to thereby prevent water leakage between the coupling member and the feed pipe.

  • Patent number: 8403337
Abstract: A multifunction ring symmetrical about a longitudinal axis has an elastomeric body, first and second ends, and inner and outer surfaces. The elastomeric body totally encloses at least one pair of longitudinally-spaced circumferential tubular cavities, each pair of cavities being mutually connected via a fluid flow restrictor and substantially filled with at least one fluid medium. Each fluid flow restrictor is responsive to longitudinal compression of the elastomeric body, and the fluid medium facilitates heat conduction, vibration damping, extrusion blocking and/or fluid pressure transmission. Longitudinal compression of a multifunction ring on a pump pressure stroke increases tubular cavity fluid pressure and causes substantially symmetrical radial ring expansion. Radial ring expansion is both inward and outward, thus reducing fluid flow resistance in the fluid flow restrictor.
