Abstract: Examples herein relate to decoding tokens using speculative decoding operations to decode tokens at an offset from a token decoded by a sequential decoding operation. At a checkpoint, a determination is made as to whether tokens to be decoded by the sequential and speculative decoding operations align. If there is alignment, the speculatively decoded tokens after a discard window are committed and made available for access. If there is not alignment, the speculatively decoded tokens are discarded. A miss in alignment and a fullness level of a buffer that stores speculatively decoded tokens are assessed to determine a next offset level for a start of speculative decoding. A size of a discard window can be set using a relationship based on the offset level to improve buffer utilization and to attempt to improve changes of alignments.

Abstract: The present invention is a removable device/mechanism which is installed onto a bicycle. The installed device assists a user in pedaling in a unique fashion which removes the stresses and forces of ordinary cycling. The movement of the pedals becomes such that force is caused only during half of the circumferential movement of each pedal, similar to a step/climbing machine. The movement is achieved by placing two shafts which move alongside planes parallel to the user during motion, the two shafts being interconnected at their top and bottom ends. The bottom ends are connected to the gears and chain of the bicycle as described herein. The top ends are connected to a reverse mechanism as described herein. The combination of elements assists the user by turning an ordinary bicycle into a more relaxed use machine, allowing more people to use bicycles.

Abstract: A wheeled vehicle includes a pair of leg driven skis and hand operated levers for simultaneously applying power to a crank and drive sprocket to propel the vehicle. A pair of controllers, one at the top of each thrust lever, include handles that are pushed and pulled to reciprocate the levers and may simultaneously be rotated through wrist and forearm action to steer the vehicle. Auxiliary steering is provided through a handlebar mounted to the vehicle separately from the thrust levers. The skis are operatively coupled to their associated levers, either directly through a pivotal connection or indirectly through an elongate link rotatably coupled at one end to the lever and at the other end to the ski.

Abstract: A drive mechanism for a bicycle is provided including a pedal leverage arm, a drive sprocket spindle, a drive sprocket, a drive gear, and a vertical gear on each side of the bicycle. The vertical gear is attached to the pedal leverage arm so that the vertical gear can mesh with the drive sprocket. A chain on each side of the bicycle extends around the drive gear and a wheel sprocket. Downward movement of a pedal leverage arm causes the attached vertical gear to move downward, causing the meshed drive gear to turn, which causes the drive sprocket spindle on that side of the bicycle to turn, which causes the chain that goes around the drive sprocket on that side of the bicycle to turn, which causes the wheel sprocket and a rear wheel to turn, due to permanent attachment of both the drive sprocket and drive gear to the drive sprocket spindle.

Abstract: A standard-sized bicycle includes a main frame, a rear drive wheel and a rowing mechanism. The rowing mechanism is coupled to the main frame about a fulcrum. The fulcrum allows the rowing mechanism to oscillate forward in response to a pushing force and backward in response to a pulling force. The rowing mechanism includes a power lever and a pair of drive levers. The power lever has a handle on one end. The power lever also has a second end. The pair of drive levers extend from the second end of the power lever. Each of the pair of drive levers is in mechanical communication with the rear drive wheel such that both a forward oscillation of the rowing mechanism and a backward oscillation of the rowing mechanism drive the rear drive wheel in a same direction of rotation to propel the bicycle forward.

Abstract: An occupant propelled vehicle is provided that includes a frame having a front portion and a rear portion, front and rear wheels, a platform for the occupant, an integrated articulating steering mechanism and a drive mechanism. The steering mechanism provides the multiple function of power transmission to a drive train, maneuvering the vehicle through a 360° turning radius and reversing the direction of the vehicle, so that it can travel both forward and backward. In one embodiment, the driving mechanism includes a power transfer means having a first end connected to a drive sprocket through a chain and a second end connected to another drive sprocket through the chain both sprockets mounted on a front wheel for propulsion. The steering means transfers power through the chains that in turn rotate the sprockets and associated wheel propelling the vehicle.

Abstract: A non-motorized foot board scooter including a frame, a front wheel and a rear wheel, a steering assembly, and a drive train. The drive train includes a kick arm that rotates the rear wheel when the kick arm is pushed backwards by the rider. The kick arm is centered with the rear wheel and a kick guard is located between the rear wheel and the kick arm. A first sprocket is mounted to the arm. The rear wheel has an associated second sprocket that is connected to the rear wheel via a clutch. A chain is mounted to the frame and extends around the first and second sprockets. The chain is routed such that as the arm is rotated the chain is drawn across the second sprocket thereby rotating the drive wheel.

Abstract: The improved chainless drive of the present invention features a four speed planetary transmission housed within the hub of the driving wheel of an utility tricycle, and an vehicle frame which provides two options for delivering power to the transmission. In the first option the drive shaft, which extends out through bearings on the center line of the driving wheel, has a crank arm fixed on each end. A spindle is fixed in the end of each crank arm and a pedal beam is rotatably mounted near its center on each spindle. A cam roller mounted on each pedal beam near its aft end engages a short length of steel track fastened on the sides of a trunk bolted on the at end off the tricycle frame. The cam roller provides a downward force to counter balance the weight of the rider on the cantilevered forward end off the pedal beam increasing the force on the spindle and thus amplifying the torque delivered to the drive shaft.
