Abstract: A transporting dolly attachable to a vehicle includes a metal frame having a base with a top surface and a bottom surface mounted on opposed peripheral side brackets, a peripheral front bracket and a peripheral rear bracket. A center support member and outer support members are secured to the bottom surface of the base. The center support member is integrally formed as a hitch connector to engage with a conventional trailer hitch receiver. The top surface of the base provides an area to carry cargo. Swivel jacks are mounted on the frame to allow the frame to be raised and lowered, and additionally provide means to move the dolly with an attached demountable handle.
Abstract: A carrier for sporting equipment is disclosed that includes a hopper that has an outer peripheral flange and defines a volume for receiving the sporting equipment therein. A hopper supporting means comprise an adjustable peripheral support and a plurality of height-adjustable legs. Each leg has an upper end fixed to the peripheral support at a band attachment means thereof, and a lower end that terminates at a wheel assembly. A lid may be included for covering the hopper and for providing a substantially horizontal surface. Preferably the adjustable peripheral support comprises a resilient band that has an adjustment hand crank attached therealong for adjusting the size of an aperture formed by the band. Each leg is preferably telescoping and further includes a locking means for selectively fixing the height of the leg.

The cart can comprise a part compartment, a tool storage compartment, a grease gun compartment, and a handle. The part compartment can define a holding area configured to laterally and vertically support an item disposed therein. The tool storage and grease gun compartments can likewise be configured to receive tools and other items. The cart can be a useful tool not only for facilitating vehicle repair and maintenance, but for other tasks as well.
Abstract: Disclosed is a portable and adjustable trailer assembly that allows for easy assembling and de-assembling, foldability, portability, requiring small storage space, multi-functional utility, retrofittable to various vehicles, and at the same time light weight and cost effective. Abstract: The present invention is an improved trailer for processing items. The trailer includes a frame, translating wheel assemblies and a pivoting hitch assembly. Each translating wheel assembly includes a stationary portion fixed to the frame and a translating portion for carrying at least one wheel. The translating portions of the wheel assemblies move up and down between a first extended position in which the wheels support the frame of the trailer and a second retracted position in which the frame sits on the ground. The hitch assembly includes an arm for coupling the trailer to a tractor vehicle. The arm moves between a first trailering position and a second stowed position. The arm is pivoted into the stowed position so that it does not interfere with process items entering or leaving the trailer.

Abstract: A lift axle suspension system for use on a vehicle having a chassis. The lift axle suspension system includes an axle assembly that is operably coupled to the vehicle chassis with a support arm assembly. A support biasing member is located between the axle assembly and the vehicle chassis for transferring loads between the axle assembly and the vehicle chassis. A lift spring member is also provided. The lift spring member is an air spring member and has one end that is pivotally mounted. Extension of the lift spring member lifts the axle assembly from a use position where the wheels attached to the axle assembly are engageable with a road surface to a storage position where the wheels attached to the axle assembly are not engaged with the road surface.

Each of the wheels is steerable to enable the changes in the wheelbase length and the track width to be effected whether the vehicle is substantially stationary or in motion.

Abstract: A front wheel support for a wheel chair, the front wheel support having a curved tube for attachment to a frame member of the wheel chair and a curved part. The curved part has a first portion with a curvature identical to the curvature of the curved tube, and a cross section allowing the first portion of the curved part to fit inside the curved tube. Abstract: The present invention relates to an adjustable ski skin attachment device that can be used to efficiently attach a skin to a ski or snowboard. In accordance with the present invention, an adjustable ski skin attachment device includes two threaded members, a coupler, and a cover. The two threaded members are threaded in reverse directions from one another. The coupler includes two receiving portions with reverse threaded receiving portions such that when the threaded members are inserted into the two receiving portions and the coupler is rotated in one direction, the two threaded members move closer together. And when the coupler is rotated in the opposite direction, the two threaded members move away from one another. The cover is positioned over the two threaded members opposite the coupler. Unlike conventional skin attachment devices, the adjustable ski skin attachment device in accordance with the present invention can be adjusted to fit over a wide variety of widths and tip shapes.

Abstract: A kit and method are provided for conversion of a vehicle to a high clearance vehicle. The method includes supporting the rear end of the vehicle in a raised position by providing replacement rear wheels of larger diameter. A lifting bracket associated with each front wheel includes a socket for receiving the existing wheel spindle of the respective front wheel therein and a replacement wheel spindle lying parallel and spaced below the socket for supporting the respective front wheel thereon. The use of lifting brackets mounted on the existing wheel spindles of the vehicle permits the existing steering linkage and suspension of the vehicle to function normally so that minimal modification to the vehicle is required for conversion to high clearance.
Abstract: A wheel work chair has all the attributes and style of an office chair but is equipped with wheelchair-type supporting wheels The chair is height adjustable with the upper portion of the chair moving relative to the lower portion of the chair. Wheels connected to the upper portion of the chair move with the chair seat as the height of the chair is adjusted. Wheels connected to the lower portion of the chair remain on the ground as the height of the chair is adjusted. Abstract: The present invention relates to an arrangement in a wheel lifting mechanism designed to lift at least one wheel (1) running on an underlying surface so that it is capable of negotiating an obstacle (h) rising above the underlying surface. Abstract: An improved adjustable wheel mounting assembly comprises a connecting member and a wheel-mounting member. The connecting member extends generally upwardly and downwardly between wheelchair frame members and is adapted to be secured thereto. Abstract: The apparatus is a highly maneuverable, curb mounting double baby stroller. To improve maneuverability, the rear wheels are placed closer than usual to the front wheels, decreasing the wheelbase and providing greater leverage between the rear wheels and the rear handle. To compensate for the instability caused by the reduced wheelbase, a trailing support is provided behind the rear wheels. The trailing support may be a simple bar extension or have small wheels. The trailing support can be unlatched to permit it to pivot for lifting the front wheels to mount a curb.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for ground working. A first step involves providing an apparatus for ground working with telescopically extendible wheel supports which permit the height and angular orientation of the chassis to be adjusted to suit a contour of a ditch. A second step involves positioning the apparatus with at least one support wheel in the ditch and at least one support wheel on the road. A third step involves driving along the ditch broadcasting gravel from the ditch onto the road with the drum. Instead of hauling in replacement gravel from a remote site, gravel is reclaimed from the ditch and broadcast back onto the road.

Abstract: A trailer and a method for loading a trailer onto a transport vehicle. The trailer is elevated, causing a rear axle assembly of the trailer to pivot from a forward position to a position that is generally normal to the trailer frame. A front wheel axle assembly is rotated upwardly, and the trailer is then subsequently slid/or pushed along a generally planar bed surface of the transport vehicle. The end of the bed surface contacts the rear axle assembly during the sliding process, and with continuing sliding the rear axle assembly moves from a normal position to a rearward position.
Abstract: An adjustable gauge wheel support structure is provided for selectively adjusting the height of cut of a mower deck. The structure includes a gauge wheel carried on a U-shaped arm which is pivotally attached to a deck bracket. A spring loaded J-pin locking mechanism is provided to secure the arm in a plurality of positions relative to the bracket. The wheel is supported on one of the parallel legs of the U-shaped arm and twisting forces encountered by the wheel and its supporting leg are resisted through locking the two legs and bracket together with the J-pin. No tools are required to adjust the wheel height and no parts have to be removed or loosened to make the adjustments, thereby minimizing the likelihood that parts will be lost or misplaced.
