Abstract: A seatless, multiple-wheel glide-type walker (10) is provided which has a frame (12) equipped with an offset foot plate (18) oriented for placement of a user's foot thereon in order to support substantially the entire weight of the user. The user's free foot can then be used to propel the walker (10) forwardly along a support surface (16). Rearmost outriggers (80, 82) secured to the frame (12) prevent inadvertent rear overturning of the walker (10). In practice, the user stands with one foot on the foot plate (18) and periodically pushes the walker (10) forwardly using the other foot, all while the user maintains a substantially erect position.

The coaxial two-wheel vehicle includes a step plate for a rider to ride on; a vehicle body supporting the step plate to be capable of changing a posture in a roll direction of rotating around a roll axis as the center when a traveling direction is set to the roll axis; and a pair of wheels disposed on the same axis at both sides of the vehicle body in a direction orthogonal to the traveling direction and rotatably supported by the vehicle body. Further, the coaxial two-wheel vehicle includes a pair of wheel drivers driving and rotating the pair of wheels independently and a control lever directly changing a posture of the step plate or indirectly changing the posture through the vehicle body.

The scooter includes a scooter body which rotatably supports the spark assembly. The spark assembly includes a spark portion which creates sparks when in frictional contact with a riding surface. The spark assembly also includes a foot actuation portion which is accessible to the user and allows the user to activate the spark assembly while riding. In one arrangement, the spark portion includes a removable cartridge with spark elements that emit sparks when in frictional contact with a riding surface.

Abstract: An improved wheeled vehicle includes a platform adapted and constructed to support an operator of the vehicle. A plurality of wheels support the vehicle for movement on a surface, the plurality of wheels including at least one front wheel adapted and constructed to steer the vehicle, and at least one rear wheel adapted to be driven to impart motion to the vehicle. A handlebar assembly is connected to at least one of the wheels of the vehicle. The handlebar assembly provides directional control of the vehicle, and extends toward the rear of the platform. A motorized drive mechanism is connected to at least one of the wheels, whereby actuation of the drive mechanism causes the vehicle to move along a surface. A control mechanism actuated by the foot of a user includes at least one pedal, and is used to accelerate and decelerate the vehicle.

Abstract: A stabilizer includes a base and a shaft rotatively mounted to the base. An arm attached to the shaft is able to swing about the axis of rotation defined by the shaft in response to centrifugal force. In one possible application, the stabilizer can be incorporated into a vehicle. The vehicle includes a first frame and a second frame pivotally connected to the first frame, wherein the frames pivot with respect to one another about an axis of rotation. The second frame includes an outwardly extending support arm having a seat mounted thereon. The arm swings in response to centrifugal force so as to laterally displace the seat relative to the first frame. In one aspect, the seat is located below the axis of rotation.

Abstract: A scooter is presented which allows the rider to maintain a secure forward facing stance with both feet parallel to the direction of travel and a combined center of gravity of both rider and scooter centrally between the front and rear wheel irrespective of the vertical tilt of the scooter. The scooter comprises a frame with high torsional strength, suitable for attaching an adjustable footrest thereto. The footrest may comprise two pedals, one on each side of the frame, or a footboard sufficiently wide to allow the rider to place both feet parallel to the direction of travel thereon. The longitudinal position of the pedals or footboard may be adjustable by selectively attaching the pedals or footboard to one of two or more attachment features at the frame.

Abstract: This invention would significantly improve the ease of riding a snowboard on ski lifts where typically one foot must remain unbound to push off with. The invention allows for control of the board specifically through the diversion of the gravitational force of weight of the rider through forces of tension, elasticity, and leverage. The diversion of these forces allows the rider to steer roughly in the same manner as if their foot was bound.
