Abstract: A tubing hanger includes: a mandrel for connection to a tubing string; an outer hanger body for supporting the mandrel in the well, the mandrel supported in a main bore of the outer hanger body by J-lock mechanisms. The outer hanger body can be supported in the tubing head or in bowl of a tubing rotator.

Abstract: A tubing hanger orientation assembly includes an annular structure having a first set of engagement surfaces configured to guide an engagement feature from a first end portion of the annular structure to a second end portion of the annular structure in response to longitudinal movement of the annular structure in a first direction. A circumferential extent of the second end portion is less than a circumferential extent of the first end portion. The annular structure includes a second set of engagement surfaces configured to guide the engagement feature from the second end portion of the annular structure to a third end portion of the annular structure in response to longitudinal movement of the annular structure in a second direction. The third end portion extends between a first side of the first end portion and a second side of the first end portion along a circumferential axis of the annular structure.
Abstract: A spring plunger for insertion into an aperture, the spring plunger including a body having a recess and a proximal opening to the recess surrounded by a chamfered rim with the chamfered rim extending at least partially across the recess. A coil spring and plunger are retained within the recess, with the plunger abutting the coil spring and contacting the chamfered rim. Also, a method of manufacturing a spring plunger and a method of use.
Abstract: A method for determining whether a fuel cell stack is overheating. The method measures the temperature of end cells in the stack using end cell temperature sensors, and calculates an average end cell temperature based on the end cell temperature measurements. The method also measures the temperature of a cooling fluid being output from the fuel cell stack. The method determines if any of the measured end cell temperatures are outlying by comparing each end cell temperature measurement to the average. The method determines that the cooling fluid outlet temperature sensor has possibly failed if the cooling fluid outlet temperature is greater than the average end cell temperature and the cooling fluid outlet temperature minus the average end cell temperature is greater than a predetermined temperature value.
Abstract: A target assembly including a plurality of target tiles bonded to a backing plate by adhesive, for example of indium or conductive polymer, filled into recesses in the backing plate formed beneath each of the target tiles. A sole peripheral recess formed as a rectangular close band may be formed inside the tile periphery. Additional recesses may be formed inside the peripheral recess, preferably symmetrically arranged about perpendicular bisectors of rectangular tiles. The depth and width of the recesses may be varied to control the amount of stress and the stress direction.
Abstract: A double row, angular contact ball bearing comprised of an integral inner race ring and an integral outer race ring, the outer race ring having at least one circumferential depressing between the rows of balls and the inner race ring having a circumferentially radially extending end member axially outside each row of balls. The present invention also relates to a method of manufacturing double row, angular contact ball bearings by shaping sheet metal or tubular work pieces to finished inner or outer race rings by rolling, pressing or deep drawing, introducing rows of balls between the race rings, shaping the race rings to final form by rolling or pressing, and rolling the rows of balls constantly about the circumferential periphery of the inner race ring during the rolling or pressing of the race rings.
