Abstract: Provided are a gasket, a reactor using the same for sealing a spiral, and a manufacturing method thereof. Spirials are continuously installed in the longitudinal direction between an inner pipe and an outer pipe coaxially arranged to form a flow path for a heat medium, so the seal between the spiral and the outer pipe is stably maintained and fabrication of the reactor is facilitated. The gasket is inserted in and coupled with the spiral, and thus does not need additional processing for combining the gasket. The gasket and spiral are coupled by lodging the spiral into a channel of the gasket. Furthermore, since the gasket is evenly coupled in the outer circumference of the spiral, in which a cushion plate made of resilient material is installed, breakage of the gasket during assembly of the outer pipe is effectively prevented and the post-assembly seal between the spiral and the outer pipe is stabilized.

Abstract: To improve a convenience in assembling a rotor of an electric motor of a power transmission unit comprising the electric motor and a transmission mechanism. For this purpose, in the power transmission unit comprising an electric motor 2 having a rotor 13 arranged on an inner circumference of a stator 12 and concentrically with the stator 12 and a transmission mechanism 1 for transmitting power, a portion of a predetermined constructional element 7 of the transmission mechanism 1 protrudes toward the stator 12 or the rotor 13 side coaxially with the stator 12 or the rotor 13. The rotor 13 is loosely fitted onto an outer circumferential face of the protruding portion 7, and a clearance C is created between an outer circumferential face of the protruding portion 7 and an inner circumferential face of the rotor 13 into which a guide sleeve for guiding the rotor 13 in an axial direction is inserted.

Abstract: The invention concerns a pipeline 1, in particular a pipeline 1 for fuel systems in aircraft, including an inner pipe 6 and an outer pipe 4 surrounding the inner pipe. In accordance with the invention, the inner pipe 6 is made of a metal material and/or, at least in portions, of a synthetic material and, at least in curved portions 5 of the pipeline 1, the outer pipe 4 is made of a synthetic material. Due to the fact that the outer pipe 4 is made of a synthetic material, a significant weight reduction can be accomplished in comparison to conventional coaxial pipelines, which are made entirely of a metal material and which, due to manufacturing reasons, require a larger number of flange joints 2 and 3 in longer curved pipeline portions. The invention also concerns a method for manufacturing such a pipeline 1, in particular a pipeline 1 for fuel systems in aircraft.

  • Patent number: 7458154
Abstract: A catalytic element may be created by compressing a mesh fabric to reduce its dimension to achieve a desired size and shape. The process begins by braiding or otherwise forming a flat wire into a sheet of mesh fabric and then forming the surface of the sheet with angled ridges. Two sheets are then laid one on top of another with the angled ridges running at an angle to each other. The pair of sheets are then rolled into a cylinder to form a catalytic body. After applying solder to the catalytic body, it is compressed to a desired lesser dimension and then heat is applied to fuse the wires while holding the catalytic body in its compressed size and shape. Next, a precious metal catalytic coating is applied to the fused catalytic body and heat is again applied to bond the precious metal compound to the catalytic body.
