    Abstract: An apparatus and method for using an apparatus to machine honeycomb cores are disclosed. A honeycomb core is inserted into a channel in an apparatus with removable dams. The core is flooded with a fluid which is frozen. The frozen block is machined while supported by the apparatus. The block is then melted and the machined honeycomb is removed.
