Publication number: 20120055786Abstract: Because an electromagnetic chuck supplies current to a specific microcoil among a plurality of microcoils and makes an object exert an electromagnetic force working together with a magnet of the object, the object can be held in a state where the object is set at a desired position (a position that corresponds to the microcoil to which current has been supplied) on a base surface. Further, by gas that blows out from a gas supply passage, a levitation force is given to the object, which can reduce effects of a friction force that acts between the object and an upper surface of the electromagnetic chuck when the position of the object is set.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 2, 2011Publication date: March 8, 2012Applicant: NIKON CORPORATIONInventor: Yuichi Shibazaki

Patent number: 8127416Abstract: The invention relates to a device (11) for handling an article (13) such as a coil spring, and to an installation for handling an article. The device (11) comprises a body (10) having an internal housing (12) suitable for containing said article (13), said housing (12) presenting at least one open end (10A, 10B) and a constriction zone (14) that is suitable in a stable state, in which said constriction zone (14) presents a reduce dimensions (D14X) that is reduced in a first direction (X), for retaining said article (13) inside the body (10), and for being deformed to adopt a deformed configuration enabling said article (13) to be inserted into the housing (12) or enabling said article (13) to be extracted from the housing (12). The installation includes force-application means for acting on the device to change it between its stable state and its deformed configuration.Type: GrantFiled: October 4, 2010Date of Patent: March 6, 2012Assignee: Tech Group Europe LimitedInventor: Stephane Chevallier

Publication number: 20120047859Abstract: A filter clip for holding a filter media over a supply/return/exhaust of an HVAC system includes a hook portion that secures to a grid of a suspended ceiling system and a filter holding portion that is connected to the hook portion such that the filter holding portion is biased towards the grid and/or a grille. An air filter placed between the filter holding portion and the grid and/or grille is held against the grid and/or grill until, for example, until construction is complete or the filter needs to be changed or removed, thereby covering the supply/return and reducing contamination of the HVAC system from construction dirt/debris.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 22, 2011Publication date: March 1, 2012Inventor: Ray Cordell
