    Abstract: An electric switch includes first and second stationary contacts, and a movable contact for making an electrical connection between the first and second stationary contacts. The movable contact is pivotally connected to the first stationary contact by a pivotal connection for allowing the movable contact to pivot with respect to the first stationary contact about a pivoting axis such that in an open position of the switch, the movable contact is disconnected from the second stationary contact, and in a closed position of the switch, the movable contact is in contact with the second stationary contact. The movable contact and the first stationary contact are arranged in a first angle with respect to each other in the open position of the switch, and in a second angle with respect to each other in the closed position of the switch, and the second angle is greater than the first angle.

    Abstract: A limit switch having a housing having a box, an attachment hold made in a side surface of the box, having a cylindrical bearing section, a rotating shaft rotatably inserted through the cylindrical bearing section, a cam unit provided in a leading end portion of the rotating shaft, and an operation lever provided in the other end portion of the rotating shaft. Rotational action of the operation lever is converted into vertical action by the cam unit in the box. A contact of a switch main body accommodated in and fixed to the housing is opened and closed. An outer diameter of the cam unit is smaller than an inner diameter of the attachment hole.
