The draft excluder is made up of an elongated angled bracket, at least one clip, a flexible covering, and an elongated weight. The flexible covering can take the form of a cloth covering. The elongated angled bracket defines first and second sidewalls with an interior angle there-between. The first and second sidewalls respectively define first and second elongated terminal edges. During normal use the at least one clip holds the first sidewall of the bracket to the bottom of a door such that the interior angle faces downward and towards the floor beneath the door. The flexible covering defines a cover portion that extends between the first and second elongated terminal edges. The cover portion defines an interior surface and an exterior surface. The elongated weight is affixed to the interior surface of the cover portion.

Abstract: A door locking system includes a door that has an outer edge. The door is overlapped with a door frame in a dwelling wall when the door in a closed position. A mounting plate is attached to the outer edge and has an upper edge and a lower edge. A swing plate is pivotally coupled to the mounting plate by a pivot pin positioned adjacent to the upper edge. A stop plate is attached to the door frame and extends outwardly from the door frame. The mounting plate is abutted against the stop plate when the door is in a closed position overlapping the door frame. The stop plate is positioned below the pivot pin. The swing plate is pivoted over the stop plate in a locking position to position the stop plate between the swing plate and the mounting plate to prevent opening of the door.

Abstract: A latch for a pivotal door has a respective pair of bolts on each of two opposite edges of the doors. The bolts are independently movable between latching positions projecting from the respective door edge and freeing positions at least partially recessed in the respective door edge, respective rods having outer ends connected to the bolts and inner ends. Respective actuating elements each connected to two of the inner ends are independently operable to shift the respective bolts between the respective latching and freeing positions. Respective adjacent handles coupled to the actuating are both shiftable independently of each other in generally the same direction between an unactuated position with the respective element setting the respective bolts in the latching positions and an actuated position setting with the respective element setting the respective bolts in the freeing positions.
