    Abstract: A vehicle footrest device including: a footrest; and a footrest moving mechanism including: a rail fixed on a vehicle floor and extending in a front and rear direction; a slider configured to be guided so as to be slidable in the front and rear direction along the rail; and a variable-length arm bridged in a height direction between the slider and a vehicle seat and configured to change a bridging length between the slider and the vehicle seat by a sliding displacement of the variable-length arm in response to a forward and rearward movement of the slider, wherein the footrest is connected to the variable-length arm, and a position in the front and rear direction and an inclination angle of the footrest to the vehicle floor are configured to be changed according to a movement of the variable-length arm caused by the forward and rearward movement of the slider.
