Abstract: An envelope opener features a through slot defining a channel that is closed on three sides around an axis of the slot. A blade projects into the channel from a first closed side thereof to an opposing second closed side thereof, and lies in plane spaced from the closed third side of the channel that lies opposite the mouth. The third side of the channel is angled relative to blade, and the cutting edge slopes away from the first closed side of the channel toward the second closed side, whereby the cutting edge is closer to both the second and third sides of the channel at one end thereof than the other. At the other end, a radiused corner is provided between the third side of the channel and an exterior of the tool. A metal insert lines one or more sides of the channel for an improved wear life.

Abstract: A height output device includes a GPS processing unit that calculates a GPS height of a moving body based on GPS signals, an atmospheric pressure measurement unit that measures atmospheric pressure, a determination unit that determines reliability of the GPS height calculated by the GPS processing unit, and an output unit that outputs an absolute height of the moving body depending on the reliability determined by the determination unit. When the reliability satisfies a predetermined output reference, the output unit outputs the latest GPS height calculated by the GPS processing unit, as the absolute height of the moving body, and when the reliability does not satisfy the output reference, the output unit outputs a height, which is calculated by using a past output value of the absolute value and the atmospheric pressure measured by the atmospheric pressure measurement unit, as the absolute height of the moving body.

Abstract: A device for carving into a carrot comprising a handle having a first end and a second end with at least one blade extending from the first end of the handle. The blade is disposed at a right angle to the handle. The blade has at least one sharp cutting edge operatively arranged to carve into the carrot. A ring can be affixed to the second end of the handle. The handle includes a thumb grip proximate the blade.

Abstract: An edge planer including a tube having two end portions, a slot longitudinally formed in the tube, one or more blade edges formed in the tube, a strip engaged in the slot, a handgrip engaged on each of the end portions of the tube, screws fixing the handgrips and the strip together, whereby, the blade edge is located between the handgrips in order to plane an edge portion of a workpiece.
