  • Patent number: 11376751
Abstract: A knife has two housing parts as well as a blade and a blade support. The support has a blade seat having a contact face normally engaging a blade face with the opposite blade face being freely accessible. The parts are movable between an operating position with the blade projecting and a stowed position with the blade wholly contained. A holder on the blade support secures the blade in the seat via interlocking formations that hold the blade against the contact face but that are so constructed that the blade has a degree of freedom in at least one direction in order to be detached from the blade seat. A latch on the holder has a bolt movable between a bolted position detachably fitted in the seat and holding the blade there and a released position out of the seat and allowing the blade to be replaced.

Abstract: It is an object of the invention to provide a useful technique for reducing vibration of a handgrip and improving the cutting efficiency while achieving weight reduction of a reciprocating power tool. According to the invention, a representative reciprocating power tool is provided to comprise a body, a tool bit, an actuating mechanism, a handgrip. The handgrip and the body can rotate with respect to each other via a pivot in a direction crossing the direction of reciprocating linear motion of the tool bit. An elastic element is disposed between the handgrip and the body and serves to absorb vibration transmitted from the body to the handgrip by elastically receiving the relative rotation of the handgrip and the body. • Patent number: 7526868
According to the invention, vibration in the handgrip can be reduced and the cutting efficiency can be improved without complicating the construction.

Abstract: A jigsaw with the functions of blade scrolling and blade pendulum movement comprises a housing, a motor, a reciprocating rod and a motor transmission system. The motor transmission system transfers the rotation of the motor to an up-and-down movement of the reciprocating rod to drive the blade to make an up-and-down cutting operation. The jigsaw still comprises a control device used to control the blade scrolling and the blade pendulum movement and control device comprises a blade button, a set of link rods and a pendulum axis. The rotation of the blade button drives the reciprocating rod to rotate so as to rotate the blade. The pendulum axis is a cam mechanism used to control the rang of the pendulum movement of the blade. The rotation of the pendulum axis will drive the set of link rods so as to control the blade button.

Abstract: A hand saw including an ergonomically constructed saw blade holder with a pistol type grip, an elongated support having a blade channel for receiving and supporting a particular “T” blade, and various tooth configurations of a saw blade having a cooperating T-shaped blade shanks. Each blade shank includes an aperture at its rear end for receiving a locking pin positioned at the back end of the blade holder that drops into position to secure the blade within the channel of the grip. Additionally, a trigger-like mechanism on the pistol grip, when squeezed, rotates a rubber surfaced pad upward through an opening in the base of the support to contact the underside of the blade shank pushing it upward into the top of the channel to insure blade stability. The “T” design of the blade allows orienting the cutting surface of the blades in different directions so that a user does not have to twist their body or arm to saw.
