Abstract: A hand-held power tool, particularly hand-operated angle grinder has a device housing having a motor housing receiving an electric drive, a gear head arranged at one end of the motor housing and having a projecting drive spindle for a tool, and a handle arranged at another end of the motor housing and having a switch strip for switching the electric drive on and off, at least one of the handle and the gear head forming a rotatable housing part and being rotatable relative to the motor housing around a longitudinal axis of the motor housing. A manually actuated positioning device fixes the rotatable housing part in at least two different rotational positions, while the motor housing being provided with a central bearing neck, the rotatable housing part being provided with a rotating cross which is received on the bearing neck so as to be rotatable and secured against axial displacement, the positioning device being formed to cause a positive-locking engagement between the motor housing and the rotating cross.

Abstract: A hand saw principally for use on sheet rock or gypsum wall board having a bi-partite handle and a thumb stop. The saw blade is provided with in-line teeth which cut on the forward and backward motion of the saw and which are provided with large cleanouts. The cutting teeth are also in line and the saw blade itself is thicker on the cutting surfaces than on the top. The arrangement permits a higher grade of premium steel to be used and the teeth can be readily sharpened. The saw may also have a blade that is sharpened on the top to a cutting edge resulting in an all purpose cutting instrument.

Abstract: A hacksaw blade has an outer free end and an inner end, with the inner end arranged for reception within a pistol grip handle and secured thereto to provide for case of manipulation of the hacksaw in use.

Abstract: A cutter knife including an upper cover, a lower cover engaged with the upper cover to form a handle, a knife holder force-fitted with a front end of the lower cover and having a slit and a threaded recess, a knife partly inserted into the knife holder through the slit of the knife holder, a knob threadedly engaged with the recess of the knife holder, and a tail seat engaged with a rear end of the handle and having a slit.

Abstract: Herein disclosed is a pruning saw which comprises: a saw blade (1); a grip sheath (3) having a blade guide hole (2) extending therethrough in the longitudinal direction thereof for guiding the saw blade (1) slidably; and a handle (4) positioned at the back of the grip sheath (3) and extending from the saw blade (1), the saw blade (1) being so inserted into the blade guide hole (2) that it can be pushed and pulled therein. Further comprised is an object holder (6) which is disposed at a suitable spacing from and generally in a position opposed to the saw blade (1) for holding an object (7) between itself and the saw blade (1) when in the pruning operation.

Abstract: A dental tool with detachable saw blades and adhesively affixed abrasive strips on the distal ends of a U shaped handle for removing the solified resin in posterior and anterior teeth during the placement of porcelain and composite inlays while keeping the tongue and cheek away from the cutting surfaces. The primary function of the tool is provided by a finger rest to direct the tool force in a gingival direction with stability and control improving the function and safety of the tool.

Abstract: A collapsible hand saw has a head portion which has a first receptacle to detachably connect with one end of a frame portion, and a handle portion to fixedly connect with the other end of the frame portion, so as to form a bow shape had saw framework to detachably connect a blade. The head portion has an integrally formed hammer member and a V-shaped notch to substantially drive and pull a nail. In addition, a plurality of spare blades can be mounted with the frame portion between the head portion and the handle portion.

Abstract: A handle for a chain saw comprises a first U-shaped member and a second U-shaped member. The two members are connected to each other. The first member is connected to a bottom of a chain saw and the second member has a side bar that is connected to the body of the chain saw. The two members provided a handle that completely encircles the body of the chain saw to form a structurally rigid closed loop having multiple grasping positions which is relatively easy to assembly with the chain saw.

Abstract: A small, hand-held cutting tool which is light in weight and easily manipulated for use in cutting relatively soft materials. The cutting tool apparatus described herein is especially useful for the decorative carving of pumpkins.

Abstract: A saw holder includes a handle and a finger-like extension projecting forwardly from a front end of the handle. The handle includes a downwardly open recess for receiving a rear section of a sawblade. A bridge extends transversely across a front end of the recess for supporting the sawblade from beneath. A front portion of the extension includes a downwardly open groove for receiving a front section of the sawblade. A forwardly and downwardly inclined clamping screw is disposed in the handle for applying a downward force to the sawblade along a line of force disposed rearwardly of the point of contact between the sawblade and the bridge so that the force presses the sawblade downwardly against the bridge in a manner swinging the front section of the sawblade upwardly about that contact point and into contact with an upper surface of the groove.
