Abstract: A plurality of core blocks that are arranged into an annular shape are inserted into and fixed to a cylindrical frame, and are disposed inside the frame, a bolt passage member that is produced as a solid body and that has a bolt passage aperture that passes through in a longitudinal direction is fixed by welding to an outer circumferential surface of the frame such that the longitudinal direction thereof is oriented in the axial direction of the frame, and a stator is held on the housing by fastening a bolt that is passed through the bolt passage aperture into a fixing portion that is formed on the housing.
Abstract: A transverse flux stator core is provided and includes laminations. Each of the laminations has a desired profile and is non-planar. The laminations are bonded in a stacked, aligned arrangement.
Abstract: A method, apparatus, article of manufacture and system for producing a field pole member for electrodynamic machinery are disclosed to, among other things, reduce magnetic flux path lengths and to eliminate back-iron for increasing torque and/or efficiency per unit size (or unit weight) and for reducing manufacturing costs. For example, a field pole member structure can either reduce the length of magnetic flux paths or substantially straighten those paths through the field pole members, or both. In one embodiment, a method provides for the construction of field pole members for electrodynamic machines.

Abstract: There is provided a hybrid stepping motor comprising the following: a first rotor yoke and a second rotor yoke, each of the rotor yokes having a plurality of rotor teeth on a periphery thereof; a rotating shaft located between the first and second rotor yokes and supporting the first and second rotor yokes on a same axis, the rotating shaft including at least one permanent magnet magnetized in a direction of the axis; and a plurality of stator yokes, each of the stator yokes having a core portion, a coil wound around the core portion, and a plurality of stator teeth extending parallel to the axis from opposed end portions of the core portion, the stator yokes being disposed at regular intervals around the rotating shaft so that a constant air gap is maintained between radially inward surfaces of the stator teeth and radial end surfaces of the rotor teeth. A positive current is applied to the opposed and paired coils of said coils and a negative current is applied to the rest coils of said coils.
