Abstract: A support structure for a stator of a generator, in particular of a wind turbine is provided, wherein the support structure includes a carrier element extending in an axial direction, wherein the carrier element includes a base section, a side section and a top section and wherein the base section of at least one carrier element of the plurality of carrier elements is connected to the base section of another one carrier element of the plurality of carrier elements. A plurality of circumferential connecting elements circumferentially protruding from the base section of one carrier element is connected to another plurality of connecting elements circumferentially protruding from the base section of another carrier element in order to provide a connection between the one and the other carrier element, a plurality of cooling pockets being formed between the connecting elements for cooling air to pass.

Abstract: A rotating electric machine includes a stator and a rotor. The rotor includes: a field core having at least one boss portion, a pair of disc portions and a plurality of claw-shaped magnetic pole portions; a field coil arranged between the at least one boss portion and the claw-shaped magnetic pole portions; a plurality of permanent magnets each of which is arranged between one circumferentially-adjacent pair of the claw-shaped magnetic pole portions; and a ring-shaped fixing member fixed to radially inner parts of the claw-shaped magnetic pole portions to support the claw-shaped magnetic pole portions from the radially inner side. Moreover, a d-axis magnetic circuit and a magnet magnetic circuit are at least partially coincident with each other to share a common circuit portion. When field current is supplied to the field coil, the permeance of the d-axis magnetic circuit is lower than the permeance of a q-axis magnetic circuit.
Abstract: A press plate (5) for tightening the metal sheets (2) of a stator core of an electric machine has an annular element (16) with a plurality of holes (17) provided at a side wall (11) thereof. The holes (17) have an elongated recessed top portion (20) and a cylindrical recessed bottom portion (21) extending from the ceiling (22) of the elongated recessed top portion (20).

Abstract: Disclosed is a washing machine which includes a tub which holds laundry, a drum which is disposed in and rotates within the tub, a stator which is fixed to the tub, and a rotor which is fixed to the drum. The rotor includes a frame, a bushing installed on the frame, a motor shaft having an end which is inserted in and fixed to the bushing, a bearing interposed between the motor shaft and the tub, and at least one guide disposed between the motor shaft and the bushing at an end of the bushing.
Abstract: A stator for a rotary electric machine with wedge members insertable into slots without being bent or folded is provided. A coupling portion is integrally formed at a non-inserted end portion, which is not inserted into a slot, of a wedge member, the coupling portion extending across an end of a partition wall portion and an end of a block portion. The wedge member and the coupling portion are formed of a synthetic resin material. Two or more coupling portions of two or more adjacently disposed wedge members are integrally formed as a continuous coupling portion.
