Particularly Adapted To Be Secured To A Core End Ring Patents (Class 310/411)
  • Patent number: 11689069
Abstract: A stator device for a motor including a shaft includes two spaced-apart base seats, a stator and a gel body. Each of the base seats includes a base member and a bearing receiving groove open away from the other one of the base seats along the axis. The base member is formed with an axial hole extending along an axis of the shaft through the base member and permitting the shaft to extend therethrough. The stator is disposed around the shaft and between the base members, and includes a core and a coil disposed around the core. The gel body is attached to and disposed around at least a portion of the stator, and is attached to one of the base seats so as to position the stator relative to the one of the base seats.

  • Patent number: 8937414
Abstract: Disclosed are an electric motor and an electric vehicle having the same. The electric motor includes a stator including a stator core and a stator coil wound around the stator core, a rotor disposed to be rotatable with respect to the stator, and a cooling unit configured to allow a cooling fluid to flow therein and disposed to be in contact with the stator to cool the stator, wherein an outer surface of the stator core includes grooves in which the cooling unit is inserted. Cooling performance can be enhanced by shortening a heat transmission path, and the cooling unit can be easily fabricated and coupled.

  • Patent number: 8638021
Abstract: A rotating electrical machine includes a rotor and a stator including an annular stator core formed by helically stacking a plurality of core pieces that are connected to each other by connecting portions, the rotor being disposed inside an inner periphery of the stator core. The connecting portions are linearly arranged along a stacking direction of the stator core so that grooves that extend in the stacking direction of the stator core are formed in an outer peripheral surface of the stator core at positions where the connecting portions are provided.

  • Patent number: 8581468
Abstract: A stator includes an annular stator core that is comprised of a plurality of stator core segments, an outer ring that is fitted on the radially outer surfaces of the stator core segments so as to fasten them together, and a stator coil mounted on the stator core. Each of the stator core segments is formed of a plurality of stator core sheets that are laminated in the axial direction of the stator core. Each of the stator core sheets has a reinforcement portion that includes a recess formed in one of the major surfaces of the stator core sheet and a protrusion formed on the other major surface. The stator core sheets are laminated so that for each adjoining pair of the stator core sheets, the protrusion of one of the stator core sheets is fitted in the recess of the other stator core sheet.

  • Patent number: 8278803
Abstract: A motor is provided with a set of end cap guides on the ends of a stator winding assembly to pilot the placement of end caps into the correct placement relative to the stator winding assembly so that the rotor assembly is maintained concentric with the stator. The end cap guides may be rings fitting within the winding insulators on the ends of the stator stack or may be integrated as guide segments with the winding insulators to outline an interrupted cylindrical inner surface coinciding with the inner diameter of the stator winding assembly. The guides allow proper positioning of the rotor assembly without increasing the stator stack length.
