  • Patent number: 8786149
Abstract: A motor body has feeder terminals. Connecting ends of the corresponding feeder terminals are exposed radially outward from a motor case. The motor body has an end frame having an attachment portion. In this configuration, a control unit is fixed to the attachment portion and connecting terminals of the control unit are arranged to be allowed to contact the corresponding connecting ends. By fastening the fastening screws at positions radially outward of the motor case, the connecting terminals of the control unit are connected to the connecting ends of the motor body.

  • Patent number: 8779642
Abstract: An electric power distribution member for stator is a member for connecting a plurality of coils to one another, each having coil opposing end portions located on an inner circumferential side and on an outer circumferential side in a radial direction of a stator, and it includes a plurality of conductor pieces and a plurality of insulating holding portions. The conductor piece has a first connection end portion in a flat plate shape connected to an inner circumferential side end portion of a coil and a second connection end portion in a flat plate shape connected to an outer circumferential side end portion of another coil. In addition, the insulating holding portion integrally holds adjacent conductor pieces at a distance from each other at a portion other than the opposing connection end portions of each conductor piece. The insulating holding portions are arranged in a manner discrete from one another.

  • Patent number: 8339001
Abstract: An electronically commutated motor has a rotor (34) that is rotatable about an axis (D), and it has a stator arrangement (30) in which is provided a number, evenly divisible by three, of salient stator poles that are wound with winding strands, associated with which, for the connection thereof, are busbars (44, 46, 48) arranged on edge. The latter are arranged in an insulating part (42). Each of these busbars (44, 46, 48) has a central portion (78), a first end portion (90) and a second end portion (56). These busbars (44, 46, 48) are insulated from one another and are nested into one another in a manner that minimizes relative displacement thereof.

  • Patent number: 8125113
Abstract: A wound core assembly for an electrical machine comprising a stack of laminations defining a core having a plurality of poles, the wound core assembly further comprising at least one slot wedge, wherein the slot wedge comprises a first portion arranged between adjacent poles and at least one second portion protruding from the first portion and abutting an end face of the core in the region of at least one of the poles. The at least one second portion may apply axial pressure to the end face to reduce the tendency of the laminations to splay axially outwards.
