Manually Operable (e.g., Switches, Rheostats, Etc.) Patents (Class 310/68A)
  • Patent number: 4329636
Abstract: A plurality of slots are disposed at equal angular intervals on one portion of a circular ring-shaped field magnet fixed to a motor's rotor to run radially of the magnet. Alternatively, short rods made of a soft magnetic material may extend radially outwards from the lateral surface of the magnet to form the slots between them. Three magnetic sensor elements are disposed at equal angular intervals of 120 degrees on a motor's stator to face successively the slots during the rotation of the rotor.

  • Patent number: 4229634
Abstract: A hygienic device has a pump for propelling liquid in a flow of pulses, a motor for driving the pump, a switch for supplying power to the motor and means for delivering the propelled liquid to a point of use. A control enables adjustment of the pressure of the delivered liquid. The switch is formed as part of the motor winding assembly and therewith is effectively encapsulated. The pump includes a piston in one end of which is a recess defining a resilient spherical seat and which cooperates with a spherical bearing formed on one end of a piston rod. The control has a valved bypass arrangement wherein various stops and abutments cooperate to permit accurate determination of high and low pressure adjustment during assembly. A rotor within the motor has a cylindrical bore with longitudinal lugs that interfit with ribs on a bearing member that is pressed into the bore. Other features, such as a tilt-out nozzle storage shelf, are included.

  • Patent number: 4005320
Abstract: A disclosure is made of an electric motor assembly in which a motor casing containing a motor and a battery casing housing one or more batteries are coupled in a manner so that a motor energizing circuit is turned on or off by relative rotational displacement between said two casings and the motor is fixed within said motor case by means of a terminal or contact strip. Further disclosed are raised ridges or grooves provided on said battery casing as means of supporting the whole assembly of said electric driving device, a method of immovably fixing said battery casing where said motor casing is made free for rotational displacement, a method of facilitating rotational displacement of said battery casing where said motor casing is immovably fixed, and also a switching mechanism.
