Abstract: An apparatus drives and guides movement of a display assembly that includes a display unit. At least one track extends along at least one side of the display assembly and defines a path along which the display assembly is driven. A plurality of pins extend from the display assembly to the at least one track. At least one constant force spring has at one end a coiled part that is rotatably coupled to the display assembly, and an opposing end fastened to a fixed mounting location, and an uncoiled part extending between the coiled part and the opposing end. The at least one constant force spring is configured to drive the display assembly from a lowered position to a raised position while the plurality of pins travels along the at least one track and guide movement of the display assembly.

Abstract: A container for storing and drying cosmetic brushes includes an enclosed container with a hinged top cover. Furthermore, a mesh filter is located on the top of the container and multiple suction cups are mounted on interior brush holders wherein the brushes are inserted into the container and kept in a sanitary environment while drying. The filter prevents air from entering the container which may contain dust and germs. In another embodiment, the top cover is provided as a pull-out top cover. In yet another embodiment, the top cover is provided as a screw-on cover.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses an electric lifting media wall, comprising a base, a lifting component including at least one group of lifting columns with lower ends connected to the base and a drive mechanism driving the lifting columns to ascend or descend, a support frame for connection with a display mounting rack that is connected to the lifting columns and ascends or descends along with the lifting columns synchronously, and a wall shroud that shrouds outside the lifting component and the support frame. The electric lifting media wall is adjustable in height, high in bearing capability, multifunctional, convenient in assembly and disassembly, easy for later maintenance, and small in package size.

Abstract: An automated storage system for storing large quantities of samples in trays includes a storage compartment, a tray shuttle compartment abutting the storage compartment on one side and a plurality of independent modules on the other side. The modules perform processing of samples that are retrieved from the storage compartment by a tray shuttle, including extraction of selected samples from retrieved source trays and transfer of the selected samples into a separate, destination tray that can be further processed or removed from the system for use. The independent operation of the modules permits handling and processing to be performed simultaneously by different modules while the tray shuttle accesses additional samples within the storage compartment. In one embodiment, a vertical carousel is used to vertically align a desired tray with the tray shuttle, while the tray shuttle operates within a horizontal plane.

A retaining mechanism is operably coupled to the mounting portion and includes a plurality of engagement features that engage like engagement features disposed on the underside of the adjustable wall. The retaining mechanism is moved to the disengaged position to allow movement of the adjustment mechanism between the fore and aft positions. The adjustment mechanism further includes support guides downwardly extending from opposite sides of the mounting portion. The support guides are slideably received in inclined channels disposed on opposite sidewalls of the cabinet between raised and lowered positions as the adjustment mechanism moves between the fore and aft positions.

The task of manually unloading the storage items in the small areas can be performed from within the passage regions forming the small areas.

Abstract: A dumbwaiter is provided. The dumbwaiter includes an elevator mechanically coupled to a left glide and a right glide. The left glide is immediately adjacent to and located between a pair of left guides, and the right glide is immediately adjacent to and located between a pair of right guides. A strap is used for raising and lowering the elevator. As the glides are bound between respective pairs of guides, the elevator is protected from vibration. Thus, the dumbwaiter of the present invention may be suitable for being used in a mobile setting, such as a motor home in transit, for example.

Abstract: Movement of a slot door of a freeze dryer is driven by a rack and pinion actuator. The actuator is easily sanitized and includes internal elements that are accessible to sanitizing sprays. The pinions are driven by pinion shafts that pass through a seal separating an aseptic area from a non-aseptic area where the drive train is positioned. Only rotary motion is transferred across the aseptic barrier, reducing the need for a bellows or sliding covers, which are difficult to sanitize.

The teeth of the first and second grippers mesh with the teeth of the first and second racks to maintain the vertical position of the display board. The handle is pushed to disengage the grippers from the racks and allow vertical motion of the display board. The adjustable display board system also comprises a display board, a linear actuator unit, and one or more pivot arms. The linear actuator unit includes a movable actuator rod and is coupled to the one or more pivot arms, which in turn is coupled to the display board. Motion of the actuator rod is converted to raising and lowering of the display board.
