Abstract: The system for monitoring and dispensing medical items which are dispensed for administration to patients includes a data terminal (76, 338) which is connected through a network (82, 328) to at least one remote computer (84, 324) having a processor and a data store. The system also includes a reading device (348) which is connected to the network. A user of the data terminal or the reading device is enabled to select a patient for whom medical items will be used, and responsive to a request to dispense items the requested items are dispensed from dispensing devices (96, 100, 344, 346, 450, 527) connected to the data terminal. A report generating device (384) generates reports (388) which include machine readable indicia corresponding to patients and/or medical items. Users may select patients and dispense medications by reading the indicia from the reports using the reading device.
Abstract: A pull-out guide assembly for a drawer (1) has, on both sides of the drawer (1), a respective pull-out rail (5) on the drawer side and a respective support rail (3) on a furniture body side. Where appropriate, a central rail (6) is arranged displaceably between the support rail (3) and the pull-out rail (5). The pull-out rail (5) is inserted in a drawer side wall and fixed therein. A damper which damps the push-in movement of the pull-out rail (5) before the latter reaches the rear end position is provided. The damper (10) acts on a slide (9) which is guided displaceably on the pull-out rail (5). The slide (9) has a stop (8) by means of which it abuts against the body rail (3) or the central rail (6) before the pull-out rail (5) reaches its rear end position.
Abstract: A system for holding a device in a computer system, the computer system including a drive cage for holding the device, is disclosed. The system comprises a first rail coupled to one side of the device and adapted to fit into the drive cage and a second rail coupled to the device at a side opposite the one side and adapted to fit into the drive cage, wherein the first and second rails are coupled to the device without requiring a tool. Computer systems utilizing the system in accordance with the present invention, will be better equipped to handle the acoustic vibrations created during the operation of different types of drives such as Direct Access and Storage Devices (DASDs). Accordingly, this will enable computer system manufacturers to incorporate faster DASDs without acoustically coupling the DASD to the chassis. Furthermore, by employing a screw-less rail, PC manufacturers and users will no longer be required to use a tool to remove the attached rails.

Abstract: A precision drawer slide, employing two or more members, wherein, one member is fastened to a cabinet wall, or carcass, and the other member is fastened to a drawer. The member fastened to the cabinet wall comprises a profile that has a “hat” section appearance that generates a surprising amount of rigidity when installed in desk and file cabinets of various kinds. The drawer and cabinet member are also strategically foreshortened and rear-shortened respectively. Other variations or embodiments include the usage of a novel quick disconnect system for the easy installation and removal of a drawer from the drawer slide assembly, as well as the inclusion of a roller bearing component for generation of a progression movement in the drawer slide itself.
Abstract: A storage unit providing a storage space and method of forming a door and frame for a storage unit are disclosed. The storage unit comprises a base, a panel movable between an open position and a closed position, and a retaining member. The retaining member is configured for movement between a first position and a second position, the first position being vertically and horizontally offset from the second position. The retaining member engages the base when the panel is in the closed position and the retaining member is in the first position. The method comprises machining a first groove on a first surface of a sheet, and machining a second groove on a second surface opposite the first surface and at least partially offset with the first groove. The door is then rotated so that the first surface of the door is generally in the same plane as the second surface of the frame.

Abstract: A guide rail assembly is used with a drawer to guide the movement of the drawer into and out of an article of furniture. The assembly has a supporting rail attached to a supporting surface and a pull-out rail attached to the drawer. At least one carriage is positioned between the supporting rail and the pull-out rail, and the supporting rail and the pull-out rail have stops for limiting movement of the pull-out rail and the carriage with respect to the supporting rail. A spring is loaded as the drawer is moved to the drawer-open position and actuated when the drawer is moved toward the drawer-close position. The noise associated with closing the drawer as it is pulled by the spring is controlled and suppressed by a shock absorbing device formed by a plunger and plunger-receiving cylinder.
Abstract: Disclosed is combination structure of a guide rail member for a kimchi storage device which includes guide grooves for guiding guide rail members formed at both lower sides of a drawer-type inner case for storage of vegetables, a hooking protrusion elongated from one side of the guide groove, and a fixing member for screwing an upper end of the hooking protrusion to maintain a certain space between a lower end of the hooking protrusion and the guide groove, in which one side of a lower end of the fixing member is integrated to one side of the guide rail member so that the inner case integrated to the guide rail member may be smoothly opened and closed though the inner case is partially deformed due to the pressure of insulating materials put outside the inner case.
Abstract: A self-closing slide is movable between an open position and a closed position. The slide includes a frame, a linear gear on the frame and a carriage configured for movement along the frame. A biasing element operably connects the frame and the carriage to bias the carriage to the closed position. A pinion gear is carried by the carriage and is positioned for movement along the linear gear with movement of the carriage along the frame. A damper is operably connected to the pinion gear and to the carriage and an engagement gear is operably mounted to the carriage and to the damper. The engagement gear is movable between a first, engaged position in which the engagement gear engages the damper and a second, disengaged position in which the engagement gear disengages the damper. When the carriage is moved from the open position toward the closed position, the engagement gear is in the second, disengaged position to disengage the damper so that the pinion gear rotates.
Abstract: A cabinet rail assembly includes a pair of cabinet rails, each of which is provided with a projection on the bottom edge of a front end portion that extends a predetermined distance below the bottom edge of the front end portion which is adapted to space the bottom edge of the cabinet rail by a pre-determined distance above a bottom member of the drawer opening. The projection on the front end of a left-hand cabinet rail is formed from a corresponding notch on the front end of a right-hand cabinet rail and vice versa.

Abstract: A ball bearing roller and ball bearing slide assembly for use in an article of manufacture, for example a toolbox having drawers, is disclosed. The ball bearing slide assembly can comprise a first slide element, a second slide element and a carriage, wherein the carriage couples, in combination with a ball bearing roller, the first slide member to the second slide member such that the second slide member moves relative to both the first slide member and the carriage. The ball bearing roller is swaged on a side of the roller that is attachable to the article of manufacture. The ball bearing slide assembly can be used, for example, as a drawer slide assembly. The ball bearing slide assembly enhances lateral stability. The likelihood of bearing fatigue, and ultimate bearing failure, due to lateral movement is decreased. A cost effective way to align, for example, shelves or drawers, with respect to the article of manufacture is provided.
Abstract: The present invention is a stress relieving plate mounted on a drawer track boot, where screws, bolts or similar fastening devices are used to mount the drawer track boot to the drawer cabinet wherein the stress relieving plate transfers the localized stress caused by the fastening devices to a larger area of the drawer track boot, and to prevent loosening of the screws, bolts or other fastening devices during use of the drawer.
Abstract: A drawer-sliding device includes an outer sliding member fastened with a cabin or the like, a middle sliding member mounted slidably in the outer sliding member, and an inner sliding member fastened with the drawer and mounted slidably in the middle sliding member. The inner sliding member is provided with a coupling element. The outer sliding member is provided with a fast return element and a spring element. When the inner sliding member and the drawer are drawn out, the coupling element of the inner sliding member is engaged with the fast return element so as to bring about an outward displacement of the fast return element, thereby resulting in deformation of the spring element. When the inner sliding member is pushed back into place along with the drawer, the fast return element and the coupling element are forced by the spring element to move back into place.
Abstract: A cabinet rail assembly includes a pair of cabinet rails, each of which is provided with a projection on the bottom edge of a front end portion that extends a predetermined distance below the bottom edge of the front end portion which is adapted to space the bottom edge of the cabinet rail by a pre-determined distance above a bottom member of the drawer opening. The projection on the front end of a left-hand cabinet rail is formed from a corresponding notch on the front end of a right-hand cabinet rail and vice versa.

Abstract: A plastic or metal locator bracket for providing securing surfaces for cabinet member drawer slide mechanisms formed to fit within discreet areas of drawer supporting structures. The body portion has first and second substantially flat portions formed at right angles with each other, spacer elements or tabs and a center marker to provide quick positioning within a discretely formed space. Shaped pockets integral with the first substantially flat portion provide structure for multiple fastener receiving apertures to accommodate a plurality of drawer frame front thicknesses. The first and second substantially flat portions have interior engaging surfaces for securement to the frame.
Abstract: A sliding track structure includes an inner track, a middle track, an outer track, an inner ball bearing member, an outer ball bearing member, and a separation mechanism. The inner track is slidably joined with the middle track in conjunction with the inner ball bearing member. The outer track is slidably joined with the middle track in conjunction with the outer ball bearing member. The separation mechanism is disposed at a front end of the middle track to facilitate the separating of the outer track from the middle track.

Abstract: A cassette for building up drawer cabinets and a drawer included in the cassette. In order to carry and guide the drawer inside the cassette, a rail made of plastic is arranged on each side of the cassette, the rail being mountable on a lower flange projecting inwards from each side wall of the cassette. From the top side of the rail, a longitudinal ridge protrudes, which is distanced from an outside pressable against the side wall of the cassette with a distance which in the main corresponds to half the difference between the width of the cassette and the width of the drawer, and the rail at opposite end portions having similar ramp surfaces, which are oblique in the direction upwards/inwards from the ends of the rail towards the plane top side of the rail. In this way, one and the same rail is, in a universal way, mountable either to the right or to the left in the cassette.
Abstract: A retaining structure for industrial console comprises at least two sliding rails and two sliding plates slidably arranged on both sides of two brackets such that the brackets can be adapted to fit industrial rack of various sizes. The two brackets are further assembled with a supporting horizontal bar and two sliding grooves such that an operative module and an optional function module can be detachably arranged on both sides of the brackets. The assembling and detaching of the inventive retaining structure is very easy and flexible.
Abstract: A method of installing a telescopic shelf in a cabinet comprises installing a pair of facing guides, each guide having first and second brackets fixed at opposed ends of the guide and each bracket having either a planar lug or a hook for engaging with a series of mounting holes. When the guides have been installed, a telescopic shelf can be slid into the facing channels. As the brackets are fixed to the guide and, the fixing of the guides within the cabinet is carried out purely by engagement of parts of the brackets with the mounting post, there is never any need for loose pieces to be used within the cabinet. The brackets are telescopically adjustable to accommodate guides and shelves of different dimensions.
Abstract: Guide structure for telescopic rail assembly, including an outer slide rail, an inner slide rail, a protective section, a pair of first slopes, a pair of second slopes and a pair of third slopes. The outer slide rail is disposed on a cabinet body, while the inner slide rail is disposed on a drawer and slidably nested in the outer slide rail. A ball bearing is disposed between the outer and inner slide rails to facilitate sliding thereof. The protective section is formed with the first and second slopes and positioned between front end of the ball bearing and front end of the outer slide rail. Rear end of the inner slide rail is formed with the third slopes. After the drawer is drawn out of the cabinet body, by means of the first, second and third slopes, the inner slide rail can be easily nested into the outer slide rail without colliding the ball bearing, whereby the ball bearing will not jump away or damage.

The drawer slide member has a vertical web having guide apertures with angled sides leading to a slot adapted to receive support tabs projecting from an undermount bracket. The undermount bracket, or shelf mount bracket, is longitudinally restricted from motion, and the support tabs thereby locked in the slots, by lock tabs located on a flexing finger within the undermount bracket which are positioned in a lock tab aperture in the web of the slide member.

The rack assembly includes a rack, roller assembly, and a mounting system. The rack has a front edge and a rear edge connected by a right side edge and a left side edge. The rack also has a centerline extending from the rack front edge to the rack rear edge. The roller assembly rotatably couples the rack to the dishwasher such that the rack is slidably moveable with respect to the dishwasher. The mounting system is coupled to the rack and is slidably coupled to the roller assembly. The mounting system is configured to remain coupled to the roller assembly during movement of the rack when the rack centerline is skewed relative to the rack assembly centerline.

Abstract: A slide fastening assembly and alignment system for mounting a drawer slide to the interior wall of a cabinet or piece of furniture. The fastener assembly includes a fastener cartridge having a body and interior chamber. The chamber encloses a small explosive charge, a detonator, a piston head and a sharpened shaft attached to the piston head. Encapsulated adhesive may optionally surround the shaft. In the preferred embodiment, the cartridge is mounted to a fastener plate that is fixed to the drawer slide member to be attached to the interior of the cabinet. In an alternative embodiment the cartridge is mounted to a bracket. In use, the drawer slide is mounted to the drawer and the drawer is then positioned in the interior of the cabinet. Once the drawer is vertically and horizontally aligned, the charge is detonated and the piston head and shaft secure the fastener plate to the wall of the cabinet through an aperture in the fastener plate or bracket.

At least one roller body of a bearing unit, in the installed condition, is essentially horizontal between two guide rails, and two roller bodies are arranged so that the three axes of the three respective roller bodies form a triangle orthogonal to the displacement direction. One guide rail has a supporting web formed thereon.

Abstract: A sliding track assembly includes an outer rail fixedly mounted inside a desk, the outer rail having a locating flange extended from a rear extension bar thereof, an inner rail moved with a drawer in and out of the outer rail, and positioning mechanism installed in a rear side of the inner rail for stopping the inner rail from jumping forwards relative to the outer rail each time the inner rail is moved with the drawer into the inside of desk, wherein the positioning mechanism includes a hollow fixed block fixedly fastened to the inner rail, and a movable block pivoted to the fixed block and turned between a first position where the movable block is received inside the fixed block and stopped at a front side of the locating flange of the rear extension bar of the inner rail and the inner rail is received inside the outer rail, and a second position where the movable block is extended out of the fixed block for enabling the inner rail to be moved with the drawer out of the desk.
Abstract: In a commodity storage apparatus having a shelf (12) for housing commodities, the shelf is supported by a fixedly installed apparatus frame (11) so as to be movable between a forward position and a backward position. Responsive to movement of the shelf between the forward and the backward positions, an attitude control arrangement controls an attitude of the shelf in a predetermined plane extending in a forward and rearward direction and a vertical direction. It is preferable that a rear end portion of the shelf moves between a relatively higher position and a relatively lower position in accordance with the movement of the shelf.
