Plural Deflections In One Plane Patents (Class 315/394)
  • Patent number: 9013329
Abstract: A lighting device, capable of identifying and marking traffic areas of airports, comprises at least one semiconductor lamp and an electronic control circuit, which is connectable to an electrical AC supply network with constant current feed. For controlling the operation of the semiconductor lamp, the control circuit has a rectifier, which is connectable without a transformer to the electrical AC supply network. It further has an internal power supply, which is connected to the rectifier, for supplying the semiconductor lamp with an electric direct current. Furthermore, the voltage supply device (3) having electronic power factor correction means, by means of which voltage and current can be kept in phase in all operating states of the lighting device (1). It furthermore re-adjusts the input voltage from the electrical AC supply network to allow the current predefined on the AC supply network to flow in the event of a small power demand of the electronic control circuit.

  • Patent number: 8937433
Abstract: LED controllers, LED lighting systems and control methods capable of providing an average luminance intensity independent from the variation of an AC voltage. A string of LEDs are divided into LED groups electrically connected in series between a power source and a ground. A LED controller has path switches, each for coupling a corresponding LED group to the ground. A management center controls the path switches, for making an input current from the power source to the string substantially approach a target value. A line waveform sensor coupled to the power source holds a representative signal during a cycle time of the power source. The representative signal is in response to an attribute of the power source, and substantially determines the target value.

  • Publication number: 20040212327
Abstract: A prefocus lens section is formed by a screen electrode and an additional electrode. A main lens section is formed by a focus electrode, an anode electrode and an intermediate electrode that is disposed between the focus electrode and the anode electrode. Each of the focus electrode and the intermediate electrode has a cylindrical electrode on at least one of opposed faces thereof. The intermediate electrode and the anode electrode have cylindrical electrodes on opposed faces thereof. A voltage with a level higher than a focus voltage and lower than an anode voltage is applied to the additional electrode and the intermediate electrode.

  • Publication number: 20040183485
Abstract: An electron beam trajectory controlling device includes a main deflection section having a first main coil and defining a first path and being configured to control a trajectory of an electron traveling along the first path. The main deflection section includes a first auxiliary coil provided proximate the first main coil. A minor deflection section is provided adjacent to the main deflection section and has a first minor coil that is coupled to the first auxiliary coil. The minor deflection section defines a second electron path that is aligned to the first path. The minor deflection section cooperates with the main deflection section to control the trajectory of the electron.

  • Publication number: 20020105292
Abstract: Circuit means absorbing counter-electromotive voltage generated by a vertical deflection yoke coil DY while scanning period is provided in a vertical deflection driving circuit of PWM method. Because a MOS transistor TR4 for pumping-up switching is on while scanning period Tt′, current flows through a channel: a diode D3 connected between source and drain of a MOS transistor TR1 for driving, a capacitor C3 for pumping-up, TR4, and a ground line (GND line) so that counter-electromotive voltage Va of power source side is absorbed. On the other hand, it is possible to detect retracing period Tr′ and to make a pumping-up circuit on by providing the comparators 23 and 24 for pumping-up.

  • Patent number: 5396157
Abstract: Large format TV tubes must produce a high peak brightness in order to be acceptable to the user. This results in a large beam current in bright areas of the picture and in a subsequent defocusing of the resulting spot on the display and in a loss of the sharpness of vertical and horizontal transitions. The apparent sharpness of a vertical transition is gained by modifying the deflection of the TV receiver such that, at vertical transitions, the line on the bright side of the transition is deflected away from the transition region. Advantageously, the amount of vertical scan modulation corresponds to a multi-level control signal and depends on the grey levels of the transition.

  • Patent number: 5070281
Abstract: A CRT display including a horizontal deflection circuit. The horizontal deflection coil supplied with a horizontal deflection signal, with inductance L, has an energy-dissipating coil resistance connected in series and hence a second-order distortion expanding the left-hand side of the picture screen of the display and contracting the right-hand side thereof is produced. In the preset invention, to correct for the second-order distortion, the current flowing through the deflection coil means is detected, the deflection distortion component is extracted from the current, and a deflection distortion correcting current corresponding to the deflection distortion is supplied to an auxiliary coil for correcting the horizontal deflection of the electron beam.

  • Patent number: 4104568
Abstract: A write electron gun is disposed at one end of a vacuum envelope to produce an electron beam modulated by an external input signal having signal elements occurring at a first given rate. A self-scanned array is disposed at the other end of the envelope. An electron beam deflection system is disposed in the envelope between the electron gun and the array to scan the electron beam over the array to store the signal elements in the array with the array providing electron gain for the stored signal elements. A source of read out signals is disposed externally of the envelope coupled to the array to read out the signal elements at a second given rate less than the first given rate.
