Abstract: For each biological information, a caution level range and a warning level range as to the biological information value are stored. When the acquired biological information value of the biological information of a patient falls within the caution level range, a notice of the status of the patient is given to a first notice destination. When the aforementioned biological information value falls within the warning level range, the notice of the status of the patient is given to a second notice destination. Thus, by switching the notice destinations based on the status of the patient, it is possible to provide a patient status notification device or the like that can appropriately and promptly perform notification.

  • Patent number: 11006245
Abstract: In a general aspect, a method is presented for detecting a location of motion using wireless signals and topologies of wireless connectivity. The method includes obtaining motion-sensing data from access point (AP) nodes of a wireless mesh network. The motion-sensing data is based on wireless signals transmitted between respective pairs of the AP nodes. The method additionally includes identifying a motion-sensing topology of the wireless mesh network. The motion-sensing topology is based on tags assigned to respective AP nodes, each tag indicating a connected state of a respective AP node. The method further includes generating a probability vector based on the motion-sensing data and the motion-sensing topology. The probability vector includes values that represent probabilities of motion of an object at respective AP nodes. A location of the motion of the object is determined based on the probability vector.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus for data analytics for a sports activity are disclosed. A multiplicity of sensors tracks a multiplicity of world objects related to the sports activity, collects and communicates tracking data to a server platform in real time or near real time. The server platform integrates the tracking data from the multiplicity of sensors and scoring data for the sports activity, and correlates the tracking data and the scoring data with a corresponding UTC timecode based on rules related to the sports activity, thereby creating a multiplicity of UTC-coded data sets. The server platform synchronizes the multiplicity of UTC-coded data sets, thereby creating a time-synchronized data set. The server platform provides analytics based on the time-synchronized data set, thereby creating analyzed data. The multiplicity of user devices displays the analyzed data based on at least one application program.

Abstract: Computing device(s) are configured for managing the reunification of students with parents during an emergency or a drill for a simulated emergency. The reunification of students with guardians may be managed through the operations of various user interfaces (UIs) presented on the device(s). Different UIs may be configured to support different personnel performing different roles in the reunification process. The UIs may include one or more of a student supervisor UI, a location supervisor UI, a runner UI, a guardian greeter UI, a reunification officer UI, or an incident commander UI. The various UIs enable different personnel to track the location and status of individuals, such as students and guardians, during various stages of a reunification process, enable personnel to dynamically update a centralized database with current information regarding the location and status of individuals, and view real time information regarding the location and status of individuals.

  • Patent number: 10992628
Abstract: In an embodiment, a computer-implemented process is programmed or configured to allow a first computing device to generate and send enriched pin data to a geographical messaging system. The geographical messaging system may then broadcast the enriched pin data to a second computing device belonging, for instance, to a team member in the same geographical region as the first computing device. The second computing device may then use the enriched pin data to display, on a geographical map, a map pin that corresponds to the enriched pin data for a selected map pin type.

Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods related to determining medical services appropriate to a patient in response to a patient lifecycle event: presenting the medical services to the patient for selection; optionally scheduling the selected medical services; and automatically presenting the selected services for prepayment. The patient lifecycle event may be, for example, a doctor's order, diagnosis, condition change, payment, admission, or discharge. The services presented to the patient may be determined in response to, and as a function of, the lifecycle event. For example, the services presented may include procedures determined after the lifecycle event, in view of patient medical history. In an illustrative example, the services presented may be based on medical indication, contraindication, provider or facility availability, or patient scheduling preference, advantageously permitting more medically relevant, beneficial, convenient, or cost-effective services.

  • Patent number: 10984440
Abstract: Portable devices include environmental sensors that generate metrics about the environment (e.g., accelerometers detecting impulses and vibration, and GPS receivers detecting position and velocity). Such devices often use environmental metrics to extract user input directed at the device by the user, and status information about the device and the environment. Presented herein are techniques for using environmental metrics to infer physical activities performed by the user while attached to the device. For example, jogging may be inferred from regular, strong impulses and typical jogging speed; walking may be inferred from regular, weak impulses and typical walking speed; and riding in a vehicle may be inferred from low-level vibrations and high speed (optionally identifying the type of vehicle ridden by the user). Based on these inferences, the device may automatically present applications and/or or adjust user interfaces suitable for the user's physical activity, rather than responsive to user input.
