  • Patent number: 11948365
Abstract: An identity of a customer within an establishment is authenticated using a variety of captured biometric features obtained from sensors and/or video. Video capturing movements/interactions of the customer is analyzed in real time to identify the customer's behavior and actions. Any staff of the establishment who interact with the customer are identified from the video. Transaction data and other data retained for the customer by the establishment are aggregated and linked with the video and the customer identity. The linked data is analyzed in combination with the customer behavior and actions to determine responses within the establishment to customer-initiated transactions. In an embodiment, the customer is authorized to perform at least one transaction within the establishment based on the authenticated identity and linked data without a presentation by the customer of an identification card, a Personal Identification Number (PIN), a password and/or verification by a staff member.

  • Patent number: 11941233
Abstract: The Commissioning phase is usually the most Time/Labor intensive phase in the Fire Safety System life cycle as the process involves referring to the Building floor plan document (as provided by the Installer) and creation of Areas/Zones and carefully assigning each fire device (viz. Smoke/Heat detectors, MCP etc.) to the corresponding zones in the Panel configuration software to configure the Fire Panel. The overall process easily spans for multiple days based on the Building network complexity. The present invention provides a system, apparatus and method for rapid commissioning by providing a graphical interface in which device addresses can be uniquely allocated using an interactive screen. This avoids double address faults which can be time consuming to identify and rectify. Geographic information of the devices can also be identified and incorporated using the interactive screen.

  • Patent number: 11744495
Abstract: A method and system for objectively tracking and analyzing the social and emotional activity of a patient using an augmented reality computing device is provided. A patient is permitted to manually manipulate a target object in the physical world while viewing an augmented version showing a unique animated character representing either an abstract language, emotions, or social skills, depending on the module. The present system tracks and records the active face and the time spent on the active face, where the active face is the face upon which the patient's focus is automatically estimated, through calculation, to be trained upon. An observer views the session, the data recorded, and an automatically generated graphical representation of the data, which permits the observer to speak to patient regarding the character or scene rendered on the face which is determined to be the active face, helping the student engage in the session.

  • Patent number: 11183035
Abstract: A system enables a scheduled visitor to receive an optical credential in paper or electronic form, and a range of date-time validity for a video doorbell which may actuate a portal. Upon activation the video doorbell hashes the optical credential with the date-time of the actual access request, masked to a range of most significant bits to create a plurality of digital bit-keys. The bit-keys generated exclusively at that video doorbell at that time would be verified with a stored digital bit-lock which is a complementary transformation of the valid date-time range hashed with the original optical credential at a visitor filtration server. Overwriting a stored digital bit-lock in a video doorbell at any time effectively cancels access by that optical credential. An emergency access key phrase communicatively couples the video doorbell with a visitee interview panel overriding access policies. Installation of custom software on the visitor's terminal is unnecessary.

Abstract: An overhead tracking system for tracking validation events including a plurality of validation devices that wirelessly receive an access token from a fare media device and validate the access token. The system includes an overhead tracking sensor that continuously tracks a position of each of a plurality of users passing underneath the sensor and receives an indication from at least one of the validation devices upon a user having successfully validated the access token from a fare media device associated with the user. The sensor detects when a particular one of the plurality of users has crossed into a feedback zone and sends a command to one or more remote devices based on detecting that the user has crossed into the feedback zone. The command and the remote devices are selected based on whether the user has successfully validated the access token.

Abstract: To overcome the difficulties caused by variation in user interfaces from self-service terminal to self-service terminal, a self-service terminal can use a standardized interface device that is compatible with other terminal types and other regions. The interface device can be positioned on a housing and electrically coupled to the housing via a secure physical connection. Media readers can be integrated into the interface device. An encrypted touch-sensitive display can be integrated into the interface device and positioned on a front of the interface device. The touch-sensitive display can show prompts to initiate a transaction at the self-service terminal. The prompts can provide instructions for causing physical media to be read at any one of the media readers to produce identification data. A processor positioned in the housing can receive the identification data from the interface device via the secure physical connection.

  • Patent number: 10411518
Abstract: A non-contact transmission device for an electronic lock includes a housing. The housing has an accommodation trough to accommodate a retainer in a slidable manner. The retainer is provided with an RFID coil. An inner side of the housing is formed with a positioning trough. When the retainer is slid in the accommodation trough, the RFID coil is positioned in the positioning trough, such that the RFID coil is closer to the outer edge of the housing without lowering the strength of the housing. When two non-contact transmission devices are mounted to a door frame and a door panel respectively, the distance between the RFID coils of the two non-contact transmission devices can be shortened to improve the transmission efficiency between the RFID coils.
