  • Patent number: 12041378
Abstract: A solution which targets perimeter infrastructure. The solution comprises a plugin which integrates a dedicated security video camera management system with a comprehensive security system management system. A foundation is thereby provided which utilizes many advantages that are found in the security system management system, such as the creation of entities, Event-to Actions, and role fail-over. Use of the plugin results in an overall system where operators of the security system can imbed their own images and branding on the video streams. Users can effectively brand their edge devices without having to interface with the devices directly.

Abstract: Described is a system and method for proactively determining and resolving events having low confidence scores and/or resolving disputed events. For example, when an event, such as a pick of an item from an inventory location within a materials handling facility occurs, the event aspects (e.g., user involved in the event, item involved in the event, action performed) are determined based on information provided from one or more input components (e.g., camera, weight sensor). If each event aspect cannot be determined with a high degree of confidence, the event information is provided to an associate for resolution.

Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for generating security event case files with unstructured data. For example, the method can include receiving, by a computing system, unstructured data and system-based inferences from devices positioned throughout a store, and adding structure to the unstructured data and system-based inferences based on applying one or more structuring models. Adding structure can include labeling the data and system-based inferences, classifying them into security event categories, and identifying objective identifiers to identify users in the data and system-based inferences. The method also can include generating case files for each of the objective identifiers, where the case files include the associated data. The method can include determining whether the case files satisfy alerting rules. The case files can then be reported out and acted upon (e.g., based on satisfying the alerting rules) and/or stored for subsequent analysis and use.

Abstract: A power supply system includes a vehicle equipped with a battery, a power supply device, and a control device that controls power supply from the power supply device to the vehicle. The vehicle includes an engine and a motor that receives the power supplied from the battery to generate traveling drive force. When the power supply by the power supply device is requested from the vehicle, the control device (a) acquires a remaining amount of fuel for the engine from the vehicle, (b) outputs an instruction to urge the vehicle to shorten a charging time when the remaining amount of fuel is larger than a reference value, and (c) sets at least one of a unit price for charging power or a unit price for fuel lower when a response to accept the instruction is received from the vehicle compared with when the instruction is not accepted.

Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods redact one or more light-emitting screens in data recorded on a recording device. The redaction may include receiving recorded data comprising a plurality of pixel values. The redaction may include detecting one or more light-emitting screens in the received image. The redaction may include redacting a subset of the pixel values from the recorded associated with the one or more detected light-emitting screens. The redaction may be commonly applied to multiple frames of recorded data through the use of a unique identifier assigned to a same detected light-emitting screen. A same light-emitting screen may be tracked across multiple non-sequential or sequential frames and assigned a same unique identifier.

  • Patent number: 11915434
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for object re-identification. In many scenarios, it would be useful to be able to monitor the movement, actions, etc. of an object, such as a person, moving into and between different camera views of a monitored space. A network of cameras and client edge devices may detect and identify a particular object, and when that object re-appears in another camera view, a comparison can be performed between the data collected regarding the object upon its initial appearance and upon its re-appearance to determine if they are the same object. In this way, data regarding an object can be captured, analyzed, or otherwise processed despite moving from one camera view to another.

Abstract: The present technology is directed to presenting a 3-D representation of an object, which is captured in a 2-D image of the object in an environment in a 3-D simulation of the environment. The present technology can receive 3-D data representing the environment including image data of the object in the environment, and a label identifying the object. The present technology can further locate a position of the object in the 3-D simulation of the environment based on determining a depth and an orientation of the object in the environment based on a semantic database of attributes associated with the object, obtain a 3-D representation of the object from the semantic database of attributes associated with the object, and project the 3-D representation of the object into the 3-D simulation of the environment at the determined position for the object.

Abstract: A machine may receive, from one or more sensors, first data indicating a first position of a work implement within an environment and second data indicating a second position of the work implement within the environment. Based on the first position and the second position, the machine may define a working area of the work implement. The machine may receive, from one or more cameras, image data depicting at least a portion of the environment and at least a portion an object disposed within a field of view of the one or more cameras. The machine may determine, based on the image data, that the object is located outside of the working area. Based on determining that the object is located outside of the working area, the machine may refrain from causing output of an alert indicating the presence of the object outside the working area.

Abstract: A display apparatus which is connected to a controller and capable of precisely and quickly shifting the display position of a pointer to the position of a desired object in a three-dimensional display area. When a two-dimensional directional command has not been issued on the controller by an operator, the display apparatus shifts into a first operation state in which a display position of the pointer is shifted according to the tilt and/or displacement of the controller. When a two-dimensional directional command has been issued on the controller by the operator, the display apparatus shifts into a second operation state in which the display position of the pointer is shifted based on two coordinate axes in the display area according to the directional command issued on the controller. In the second operation state, the two coordinate axes are varied according to the tilt of the external control apparatus.
