  • Patent number: 11831982
Abstract: A capture operation is identified. The capture operation is of a video stream of a subject located in an environment. The capture operation is performed by a first capture device from a first perspective of the subject. A perspective update request of the video stream is received. In response to the perspective update request, one or more candidate capture devices in the environment is detected. A second capture device is selected as a selected capture device, from the one or more candidate capture devices. The second capture device is instructing to perform the capture operation based on the selection. The video stream is transferred from the first capture device to the second capture device. The transferring updates the video stream to a second perspective of the subject.

  • Patent number: 11812186
Abstract: Systems and processes are provided for interactive reassignment of character faces in an audio video program. An audio video input receives an audio video program. A user interface receives a request to substitute an original character face within the audio video program with an alternative character face. The system uses a buffer to delay the audio video program and generate a delayed audio video program. A processor detects the original character face in the audio video program and replaces the original character face in the delayed audio video program with the alternative character face to generate a modified and delayed audio video program. The modified delayed audio video program is sent to a display and loudspeaker.

  • Patent number: 11785170
Abstract: The invention provides methods for broadcasting video in a dual HDR/LDR format such that the video can be displayed in real time by both LDR and HDR display devices. Methods and devices of the invention process streams of pixels from multiple sensors in a frame-independent manner to produce an HDR video signal in real time. That HDR video signal is then tone-mapped to produce an LDR video signal, the LDR signal is subtracted from the HDR signal to calculate a residual signal, and the LDR signal and the residual signal are merged into a combined signal that is broadcast via a communications network.

  • Patent number: 11081139
Abstract: Certain aspects involve video inpainting via confidence-weighted motion estimation. For instance, a video editor accesses video content having a target region to be modified in one or more video frames. The video editor computes a motion for a boundary of the target region. The video editor interpolates, from the boundary motion, a target motion of a target pixel within the target region. In the interpolation, confidence values assigned to boundary pixels control how the motion of these pixels contributes to the interpolated target motion. A confidence value is computed based on a difference between forward and reverse motion with respect to a particular boundary pixel, a texture in a region that includes the particular boundary pixel, or a combination thereof. The video editor modifies the target region in the video by updating color data of the target pixel to correspond to the target motion interpolated from the boundary motion.

The display device includes a first input port to a fourth input port for receiving a video signal transmitted from each of the computers and a first output port to a fourth output port for outputting an operation signal to each of the computers. The CPU outputs a detection signal for changing the image to each of the first output port to the fourth output port, detects a change in the image on the display screen, and sets a combination of the output port that has output the detection signal and the input port corresponding to the display screen in which the image has changed.

Abstract: The invention relates to a computer-implemented method for automatically extracting data from a digital image comprising a graphical representation of quantitative data. The method comprises: Basic graphical objects are detected and structural primitives determined comprising grouping the basic graphical objects based on geometric relations. A semantic label is assigned to each of the structural primitives. A spatial data region of the graphical representation is determined using the semantic labels of the structural primitives. Quantitative data values are extracted which are represented by structural primitives within the data region which are assigned with first semantic labels identifying the respective structural primitives to represent quantitative data. The extracted quantitative data values are provided in units of pixels according to an image coordinate system.

  • Patent number: 10554923
Abstract: A subject, such as a billboard, has a filtering film to absorb electromagnetic radiation specifically in a first wavelength band. A detector provides a first detector signal relating to the first wavelength band and a second detector signal relating to another, different, second wavelength band, respectively. Suitably, the subject appears with high intensity in one band and with low intensity in the other. A content replacement unit produces a mask signal by identifying regions of contrast between the first and second detector signals as target areas. A content substitution unit selectively replaces the target areas with alternate image content to generate modified video images. The system is useful, for example, to generate multiple live television broadcasts each having differing billboard advertisements.

  • Patent number: 10528803
Abstract: A living body detection device (1) includes: an image acquisition unit (171), a determination unit (173) and a detection unit (174). The image acquisition unit (171) acquires a first image in which a subject irradiated by light in a first wavelength range is imaged, and a second image in which the subject irradiated by light in a second wavelength range is imaged, the second wavelength range being different from the first wavelength range. The determination unit (173) determines whether a relation expressed by luminance of the subject imaged in the first image and luminance of the subject imaged in the second image is a relation exhibited by a living body. The detection unit (174) detects that the subject is a living body in a case where the determination unit (173) has determined that it is the relation exhibited by the living body.
