  • Patent number: 9041807
Abstract: An image processing device configured to be installed in a vehicle includes an image acquirer, an image selector, a first luminance adjuster, a synthetic image generator, and an image provider. The image acquirer acquires camera images captured by cameras provided on the vehicle. The image selector selects one of the camera images as a representative image based on luminances of the camera images. The first luminance adjuster adjusts a luminance of at least one of the other camera images based on a luminance of the representative image. The synthetic image generator generates a synthetic image showing a periphery of the vehicle, based on the representative image and the other camera images the luminance of at least one of which has been adjusted by the first adjuster. The image provider outputs, to a display device installed in the vehicle, information corresponding to the synthetic image.

  • Patent number: 6741296
Abstract: The present invention discloses a color CRT system that can be easily adapted for installations in either the northern or the southern hemisphere. The CRT is symmetrical with respect to its yamming or set up for the earth's magnetic field so the CRT can be installed in either a normal or an inverted orientation. Likewise the yoke and yoke connector are designed and can be easily installed so the CRT scan starts in the upper left of the CRT in either the normal or inverted installation. The connectors for the neck video card are designed to exit the side of the card so the wires can be routed to the CRT system card in either CRT installation orientation. Finally the anode wire is made with a length and attachment point such that the anode is wireable when the CRT is in the normal or inverted orientation.

Abstract: A deflection yoke mounted on a neck of a cathode ray tube includes a pair of horizontal deflection coils, a pair of vertical deflection coils and a core of a ferromagnetic material. The core has magnetic reluctance, in a front region, close to a screen end of the tube, that is greater along the vertical direction than along the horizontal direction. In one embodiment of the invention this feature is achieved by making recesses at the intersection of a flared front part of the core with the horizontal plane of symmetry XZ. In another embodiment of the invention, the thickness of the core varies.

  • Patent number: 6087768
Abstract: A cathode ray tube having a deflection unit, the play between the deflection unit (11) and the envelope (4) being different for two perpendicular (x and y) directions. This enables the tilt of the deflection unit relative to the envelope to be greater in a direction than in a direction at right angles to said direction. By virtue thereof, the distance between the deflection unit and the electron beams can be reduced, so that the deflection requires less energy and can be improved.
