Abstract: An information processing apparatus capable of reducing the labor and time expended by a user for an instruction in reservation printing is provided. The information processing apparatus performs communication with a server for storing files and an image forming apparatus for printing files. Abstract: A method for enhancing a Quality of Experience (QoE) index, by a wearable device, for a user in an Internet of things (IoT) network comprising a plurality of IoT devices is provided. The method includes monitoring the QoE index of the user in the IoT network, detecting a drop in the QoE index of the user, determining whether the dropped QoE index is less than a QoE threshold, in response to determining that the dropped QoE index is less than the QoE threshold, determining at least one IoT device from the plurality of IoT devices that is responsible for the drop in the QoE index of the user using an Artificial intelligence (AI) model, and controlling the IoT device(s) to raise the QoE index of the user above the QoE threshold.

Abstract: A method for uploading print data for a cloud print service includes transmitting a first print job including first data to the cloud print service, uploading, if a terminal receives a response indicating that a data size of the first print job exceeds an upper limit of a data size of a print job supported by the cloud print service, the first data to a cloud storage service, generating a second print job including resource information for accessing the first data uploaded to the cloud storage service, and transmitting, to the cloud print service, the second print job including the resource information. If the terminal receives the response from the cloud print service, it is determined whether a first cloud storage service is accessible with the same authentication information as that for the cloud print service.

Abstract: A method for troubleshooting and maintaining printing devices is provided. The method includes identifying, by a service bot in a print device, a maintenance condition to be resolved, wherein the service bot comprises a processor executing instructions stored on a computer-readable medium in the print device; notifying, by the service bot, a client terminal of the maintenance condition and a resolution attempt; analyzing, by the service bot, the maintenance condition using an anomaly detection technique; referencing, by the service bot, a knowledge database to identify a resolution for the analyzed maintenance condition; implementing, by the service bot, the identified resolution at the print device; notifying the client terminal of the identified resolution; and updating the knowledge database with the analyzed maintenance condition and the identified resolution. The hot folder is configured to push a print job entry for the driverless printing for the time expired files. The hiding includes: renaming a first data file name to a second data file name; marking the second data file name as processing in association with operation of the hot folder; mapping a relationship between the first data file name and the second data file name; renaming a first reference file name to a second reference file name; marking the second reference file name as processing in association with operation of the hot folder; and mapping a relationship between the first reference file name and the second reference file name. The print job entry is created for the print job and is pushed for the time expired files.

The job changing unit changes the job suitable to other print server selected from the plurality of print servers based on the resource information stored in the storage unit. The processing management unit transmits the job changed by the job changing unit to the other print server and requests processing.

With this technology, identification information for primary inbound and outbound queues is extracted from a registration token received from an administrator device. A registration request is inserted into the primary outbound queue using the identification information and one or more communication networks that are external to a data center. The primary inbound queue is polled using the identification information and the communication networks to retrieve messages from a backup service computing device that instantiated the queues and generated the registration token. Accordingly, nodes in a data center can communicate more securely with a cloud backup service via queues and without exposing any HTTP ports to the backup service.

The SUI is for use across all client devices including mobile or cellular telephones, a mobile portal, a web portal, and a touchscreen device. The SUI includes a number of display elements presented across all types of client devices for monitoring status of the integrated security system. The display elements of the SUI include an orb icon, text summary, security button, device warnings, system warnings, interesting sensors, and quiet sensors. The SUI thus provides system status summary information agnostically across all clients. It also obtains the current settings for the printing device and applies these settings to the dot count value to determine a current consumable use value. In one embodiment, a printing system comprises a cloud printing service that stores device capability information for different types of printers supervised by a print server. Each of the printer-specific print streams is in a printable output format for one of the plurality of the printers. The cloud computing system also includes the virtual printers, which are able to operate in parallel to estimate amounts of ink used for each configuration during printing of the print job, and to store the estimated amounts of ink in a cloud storage.
