Thus, in a case where image data input by execution of an input job is not output by execution of an output job, the user is able to easily confirm the cause of the output failure of the input image data.

The system also includes an encoder to encrypt the recipe and an exception processor to respond to requests from the contracting print device to deviate from the recipe.

Abstract: A color printing system includes a printing device and other components that use color printing resources, such as calibration and ICC profiles, to complete color printing operations. These color printing resources are used for a large number of paper types stored in a paper catalog. The paper types can be further placed into paper groups within the paper catalog. The paper groups may be formed by assigning new papers into the paper catalog to those having paper types with existing calibration data and ICC profiles. These relationships are shown in a paper catalog map. The print shop can use the paper catalog map for selling paper types, providing different capabilities for paper types, and other information.

Abstract: A system for managing an alarm issued by a medical device being used to treat a patient is disclosed. The system includes a processor coupled to at least one of the medical device, a monitoring system being used to monitor the patient, and a hospital system. The system also includes a memory coupled to the processor. The memory contains data and instructions that, when loaded into the processor and executed, cause the processor to receive the alarm and retrieve information from one or more of the medical device, the monitoring system, and the hospital system. The information comprises a dynamic attribute associated with the patient. The system then assigns a sub-priority to the alarm based in part on evaluation of the dynamic attribute and provides an alert to a staff member.

In one example, a computer system may obtain source printing content associated with a print job that is destined for a printer and the economic printing mode may be selected for the print job. The source printing content may be transformed to generate target printing content that is printable using a lower ink consumption compared to the source printing content by modifying the font information associated with the textual information. The computer system may provide the target printing content that includes modified font information to the printer for printing and/or generate a preview of the target printing content prior to printing using the printer.

Abstract: A printing system includes an offline estimation device that provides estimates for ink or toner use for a print job at a target printing device. The offline estimation device retrieves digital front end (DFE) version information, configuration setting information, and color printing resources from the target printing device. Using the DFE version information, the offline estimation device selects a raster image processor (RIP) from a plurality of RIPs of software versions available within the printing system. The offline estimation device configures the RIP with configuration settings of the configuration setting information. The color printing resources also are pushed to the RIP. The offline estimation device provides the ink or toner use estimate using the configured RIP.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of dispensing systems, dispensers, refill units, methods for autonomously updating firmware and/or software in dispensers are disclosed herein. Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for smart upload automation in which actions are automatically performed on a set of digital assets against a target item. In one embodiment, a system includes a network, a server machine, a client machine and a data storage device, each of which is coupled to the network. The client machine designates digital assets and a target item against which the assets will be uploaded. The digital assets are uploaded by the client machine to the data storage device via the network. The server machine automatically performs actions on the digital assets without intervention by the client machine, where the actions are associated with or in some way defined by the target item. The actions may include setting metadata values of the digital assets based upon metadata associated with the target item, or generating different renditions of the digital assets.
