    Abstract: Methods and apparatus for reducing electric loss in an elastic wave element. In one example such a method includes forming an IDT electrode on a piezoelectric body, and forming the connection wiring on the piezoelectric body and electrically connecting the connection wiring to the IDT electrode. Forming the connection wiring includes sequentially forming a lower connection wiring on an upper surface of the piezoelectric body and forming an upper connection wiring over the lower connection wiring. The method further includes forming a reinforcement electrode over the connection wiring that divides the upper connection wiring into first and second upper connection wirings electrically connected to one another by the reinforcement electrode. The reinforcement electrode is formed abutting an upper surface of the lower connection wiring between the first and second upper connection wirings and electrically connected to the lower connection wiring and to the first and second upper connection wirings.

Iterations of the device utilize light known to have a bactericidal effect in the case of acne, MRSA, etc. The bed is fabricated and formed in a curved configuration to optimize contact between the LEDs and the skin of a user. Each of the LED modules may be mounted on a PCB in an arrangement to provide even lighting and temperature upon the skin or tissue surface of a user. Each module also has one or more thermal sensors that evenly and quickly heat all of the areas of a user's body.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a spark gap arrangement comprising two preferably flat, opposing electrodes (1) that are held apart in a housing body (13), said electrodes forming an arc combustion chamber, and comprising a gas-cooling and pressure-compensating chamber that is connected to the arc combustion chamber. According to the invention, the housing body (13) is formed from two half-shells (14, 16), each of which has first recesses that lie opposite each other in one plane for electrode connecting limbs (3), said limbs being connected to a connecting terminal (15) on the outside of the housing body. Each of the half-shells (14, 16) has a first space for receiving an insulating material support (11) for the electrodes (1) and a second space for receiving a cooling block (8), which has channels, with a high heat capacity.
