Abstract: This invention provides a cup with twinkling light effects, primarily comprising an inner cup, an outer cup, and a light unit, with the lower half of the inner cup having a number of arched convex strips, and the base of which has diamond-facet of concave and convex cones. As a result, when the light unit at the base of the outer cup is activated, the effects of the arched convex strips and diamond facets cause the cup to produce numerous refractions of the light source, creating twinkling rays of light with dazzling variation.

Abstract: This invention relates to a key that will illuminate in the dark. Why is it needed? The concept serves as a niche for the market and has the potential for making keys. It's easily recognizable simply by associating the key color with homes, locks, garages, offices, machinery and ect. This also includes anything that requires identification of a select key when light may not be available. Who benefits? Adults and children who need to gain access to secure homes at night. The key will reduce fumbling to identify keys during late evenings and nights. Disabled people will benefit because the key will help them maneuver through things during the night quickly. Being able to quickly access a locked vehicle at night will also benefit people. Shut down or disabled machinery could potentially reduce the number of physical attacks on victims, robberies, muggings, murders and ect.

Abstract: A container includes a receptacle, a stationary base, a rotating device, a power supply device, and an actuator. The receptacle receives a substance therein. The rotating device and the power supply device are arranged in the stationary base. The stationary base includes at least one light-emitting element. The rotating device drives the receptacle to rotate. The power supply device is electrically connected to the light-emitting element. The actuator extends into the stationary base and is reciprocally movable. The movement of the actuator drives the rotating device and actuates the power supply device. When a user pushes the actuator to cause the receptacle to rotate for providing effects of stirring and reducing temperature of the substance (such as liquid) received in the receptacle, the light-emitting element of the stationary base is also caused to generate and emit light to thereby achieve the advantages of enhancing interest, decoration, aesthetics, and practical utilization.

Abstract: A compact high-brightness LED aquarium light fixture is described for use in illuminating aquarium tanks artificial light. (18) The LED aquarium light uses a densely-packed array of high-brightness light emitting diodes (LEDs) that are not individually packaged, where the array behaves similarly to a point source of light. The LED chips are distributed laterally over an area, where the LED chips have light emitting surfaces for emitting light in directions transverse to said area, wherein the dimensions of the area do not exceed 25 mm. Adjacent chips of the array are preferably separated by less than about 0.2 mm. The extended point source LED array, with its lens and associated reflector, result in a concentrated light source that attractively illuminates the contents of the aquarium, and creates a desirable shimmering effect within the aquarium. A clamp-on, flexible gooseneck mounting arrangement allows for use with aquarium tanks of various sizes.
