  • Patent number: 6874905
Abstract: A light fixture for use in low voltage outdoor lighting systems that comprises a lens assembly with a reflector, lens and lens support and a socket assembly with a lamp, socket and socket housing, which are mounted on a post. Connection of the lens assembly and socket assembly is provided by the combination of a taper fit and multiple O-rings which provide a frictional fit that is sealed against dirt and moisture intrusion, avoiding metal-to-metal contact. Attachment of the lens assembly to the socket assembly is achieved by pressing the two parts together in an axial direction. Disassembly is achieved by twisting to overcome the friction generated by the O-rings and pulling the two assemblies apart. A locking screw may be used to prevent accidental separation of the lens assembly and socket assembly. The post can be attached to a ground spike for installation.

  • Patent number: 6851827
Abstract: A lantern is provided that comprises a case having a plurality of walls defining a case interior. The plurality of walls includes opposing front and rear walls. A lighting port is formed through the front wall and a faceplate assembly is disposed in the case interior in substantial registration with the lighting port. The faceplate assembly is disposed so that it engages a portion of the front wall surrounding the lighting port to seal the lighting port. A solid-state illuminator assembly is disposed in the case interior in substantial registration with the faceplate assembly and in contact with the faceplate assembly. A bracing arrangement is disposed intermediate the solid-state illuminator assembly and the rear wall. The bracing arrangement is in contact with the solid-state illuminator assembly and is configured to restrict rearward movement of the solid-state illuminator assembly and the faceplate assembly.

  • Patent number: 6776502
Abstract: A newly constructed fishing lamp is disclosed. It is capable of reducing the production cost and simplifying fabrication process by fabricating several essential parts integrally in one piece so as to save use of extra separated components. Several O-rings are employed to hermetically seal the lamp housing to assure the perfect watertight feature. A durable, colorful, and power saving LED-flash is selected as the light source to emit diffused light-imitating as that of planktons to tempt fish group approaching with the consumption of very small amount of power. A specially designed 360° turnable bearing including a suspension ring to hang the fishing lamp thereby capable of preventing lamps from overturning in the water stream incurring kinking of fishing rope or curling of fishing line that leads to a broken rope or line.
