    Abstract: The lamp shade is formed by a hollow enveloping body with laminar structure closed on itself. In an operative position it is assembled on a support structure and extends laterally around a light source, configuring an upper opening and a lower opening. The enveloping body comprises an exterior face and an interior face relatively rigid in the vertical direction and relatively flexible in the horizontal direction, the vertical direction being that which goes from the upper opening to the lower opening. The interior face comprises at least one corrugated surface portion vertically and at least one perimeter channel (6) perpendicular to the corrugations of the at least one portion for coupling the shade to the support structure.

    Abstract: A reflecting surface of a reflector has a structure where a plurality of reflecting elements are arranged in rows in an up-and-down direction, and the reflecting elements are arranged as a plurality of sets in a left-and-right direction. The surface of each reflecting element is composed of a curved surface having a horizontal section curvature larger than a vertical section curvature. Thus, a horizontally long light distribution pattern may be easily formed by light reflecting from each reflecting element. Each reflecting element is connected to each of four reflecting elements which are adjacent thereto in the left-and-right direction and are shifted therefrom in the up-and-down direction, through a boundary line extending from a vertical plane in an inclined direction in the left-and-right direction. Thus, the horizontally long light distribution pattern formed by the light reflecting from each reflecting element becomes a bright light distribution pattern having four chipped corners.

The heat pipe's rearward end attaches to a heat sink mountable on the back side of the lighting fixture's concave reflector, and the heat pipe extends through a central hole in the reflector to position the LED assemblies at or near the concave reflector's focal region. The concave reflector reflects light emitted by the LED assemblies forward to the lighting fixture's lens assembly, which in turn projects a beam of light to a distant location.

The frosted and translucent lens is sandwiched between a transverse interior shelf on the ring cover and the top of the reflector. A plug-in fluorescent lightbulb is installed into an electric plug within the canister of the ceiling fixture, however, because of the translucent and frosted lens, the plug-in fluorescent lightbulb is concealed and lighting effect simulates a reflector lightbulb.

    Abstract: An improvement in lightbulb housings which is the addition of a third baffle that extends beyond and behind the length of a standard baffle which generally ends at the tip or beginning of a socket. By adding a third baffle that goes beyond and behind the socket, a snapper assembly, which has been correspondingly elongated, may be affixed, bolted, riveted, or screwed onto this third baffle. That portion of the affixation, bolt, rivet, or screw that resides in the interior of the light housing is attached along the side of the socket and behind the face of the light bulb so that the affixation will not be seen when the housing is in place.
