Abstract: A pump for non-flammable liquids has an improved mounting for the motor which facilitates the relatively quick and easy removal of the motor from the pump. The pump has a main body which is hollow and cylindrical. A motor housing is connected to the main body by threads at a first end and has a removable end cap on its second end. The electric motor is located in said motor housing and secured when the end cap is on the motor housing. An electronics housing has a battery adapter plate, a switch, and a discharge port, and encloses wires and electronics such that the motor pumps the liquid from the end cap, through the motor housing and the main body, and out of the discharge port when the switch is turned on.

Abstract: A hooded light head assembly for providing directional lighting is provided which comprises a light housing having a hood. The light housing has an internal light source and a rear attachment surface that has an insert extension. The insert extension is configured to attach the light housing to mounting surface upon insertion into an opening in the mounting surface and upon rotation of the light housing relative to the mounting surface. Some of these hoods also have a locking tab extending rearward from the surface that may prevent removal of the hood from the mounting surface. The light head may also have a controller having touch sensitivity and set to indicate light head status and prevent reversed current through the light heads. An arrow board using the controller and light heads may be easily installed and may be durable and reliable in outdoor conditions.

Abstract: The present invention provides a positioning device for light guide plate and the backlight module. The positioning device for light guide plate includes a backboard and a spring member which can be deformed when exerted with external force, and resumes to its original position when the external force is relieved. The spring member is arranged adjacent to the incident surface of the light guide plate, and includes a connector attached to the backboard, and a positioning hand having a fixing end and a free end. The spring member is set to have a certain elastic modulus. Abstract: A light panel is disclosed. The light panel comprises a circuit assembly, a plurality of light sources, a light reflective structure, and a diffuser layer. The light reflective structure has a plurality of concaves, which are continuously connected to form a plurality of ridges. Each of the concaves has an opening formed on the bottom surface thereof, and each of the light sources is disposed corresponding to each of the openings of the concaves. The diffuser layer is supported by the ridges of the light reflective structure. Abstract: A light fixture and method for producing downward-propagating illumination are disclosed. A downward-facing panel may produce diffuse light. The panel may be generally flat and may have an indentation, where the indentation may have a lining that also produces diffuse light. The LEDs are mounted on easily mounted and removed modular printed circuit boards, in at least two different sizes and numbers of LEDs, and optical lenses of at least two different lighting patterns are provided, so that the lantern may be assembled or retrofit according to a desired application including candlepower and lighting pattern for cast light. The optical lenses are individually provided, utilize refraction to diminish reflection, and, in one form, incorporate an integral reflector to assist in defining a lighting pattern. In some forms, a securement may be provided for individual securement of lenses with the PCB.

The illumination device is received in the housing, and includes a support arm rotatablely connected to the shell, at least one light source fixed on the support arm, a opening mechanism movably connected to the support arm and opens or folds the support arm, and a light cover mounted on the opening mechanism. The light cover follows the opening mechanism to unfold or fold.

The holder can be designed such that it holds the lens such that there is an air gap between the light exit surface of the LED chip and the bottom face of the lens.
Abstract: A lighting device is disclosed herein. The lighting device includes an optic holder designed to hold optic elements over a light emitting diode (LED). The optic holders design ensures that the LEDs dome is not damaged during the assembly of the lighting device. Open covers and closed covers are provided in order to allow or block light from the LEDs to come out of the lighting device or to block empty LED locations within the lighting device in order to provide an esthetic looking facade to the lighting device.
Abstract: A lamp holding apparatus for mounting a lamp to a lamp mounting member includes a mounting plate provided with a locking portion which protrudes to a base side, inserted into a mounting hole provided at the base and is lockable to a peripheral edge of a back side thereof. The mounting plate is provided with a pin which protrudes to an opposite side from the base side and is capable of being gripped by an operator at a time of being attached to and detached from the base. The locking portion is disposed at a position corresponding to a back side of the pin. As a result, when the locking portion is inserted into the mounting hole while gripping the pin, both the locking portion and the mounting hole are easily positioned. Thus, at a time of insertion, bending forces are reduced.
