  • Patent number: 11929781
Abstract: An objective is to provide a terminal device, a communication method, and a communication system in which the time taken by connection operations/authentication operations does not increase proportionally with the pattern length, even if the transmitting side and the receiving side are not synchronized. A terminal device, a communication method, and a communication system according to the present invention create n pieces of signal information (n-bit patterns) by sequentially shifting each bit of a single piece of received signal information (n-bit pattern) one bit at a time. Through the above, signal information time-shifted by one bit each is obtained. Thus, even if the transmitting side and the receiving side are not synchronized, one of the n pieces of signal information is a signal synchronized with the transmitting side. Thereafter, the signal synchronized with the transmitting side can be detected by a brute-force calculation with the patterns (ID information) in the list.

Abstract: Example subscription information configuration methods and a communications device are described. One example method includes receiving a first device identifier by a network device from a first terminal device in a first access mode and receiving a second device identifier from a second terminal device in a second access mode. The network device determines whether the first device identifier matches the second device identifier to identify legality of the first terminal device. If the first device identifier matches the second device identifier, it indicates that the first terminal device is a legal terminal device. The network device sends subscription information of the first terminal device to the first terminal device in the first access mode, so that the first terminal device successfully accesses a network by using the subscription information.

Abstract: A range is determined between two unsynchronized communications terminals in which a first terminal transmits a range request to a second terminal. The first terminal stores a first timestamp in memory corresponding to a time at which the range request message was transmitted. A range response is later received by the first terminal from the second terminal. The range response includes a residence time that characterizes an amount of time the second terminal required to send the range response after receiving the range request. The first terminal later stores a second timestamp in memory corresponding to a time at which the range response was received. Based on the second timestamp minus the first timestamp and the residence time, a roundtrip time for the range request is calculated. This roundtrip time can be used to calculate a distance between the first terminal and the second terminal based on the roundtrip time.

Abstract: Disclosed are system architectures and techniques for multiple access points for a data container. Control plane and data plane APIs are disclosed for generating access points and associating the access points with data containers, as well as for generating access point policies that specify permissions for the access points. More than one access point may be associated with a single data container. A storage service receives requests directed to the access points, and grants or denies the requests based on the permissions specified in the corresponding policies. Various types of use cases for using access policies are contemplated such as default, regional, or network-based (e.g., VPC-based) use-cases or the like. A system may implement layers of policies such as identity and access management policies, access point policies and data container policies.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for filtering a redundant data packet at a node in a Bluetooth Mesh network. The method comprises the following steps: providing a deduplication filtering cache for storing a combined field value of one or more specified fields of each of one or more Bluetooth Mesh data packets received by the node; upon receipt of a Bluetooth Mesh data packet by the node, comparing a combined field value of one or more specified fields of the data packet with each combined field value stored in the deduplication filtering cache, so as to determine whether the received Bluetooth Mesh data packet is a redundant data packet. Compared with the prior art, the method of the present disclosure may help to determine whether the data packet is the redundant data packet without decrypting the encrypted fields and de-obfuscating the obfuscated fields, which greatly simplifies the processing flow.

  • Patent number: 11856418
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. For example, the described techniques provide for a base station of a wireless communications system to determine a configuration for a repeating device to forward signals to another device. In some examples, the configuration may be based on a number of repeating devices in the wireless communications system. The base station may also transmit a message for the repeating device to forward. In some examples, based on a buffering capability of the repeating device, the base station may transmit the message with a zero time offset relative to the control signaling. The repeating device may receive and process the control signaling and receive and buffer the message. In response to processing the control signaling, the repeating device may transmit the buffered message to another device. Implementing aspects of present disclosure may enable an increased efficiency of forwarding in wireless communications systems.
