Abstract: An electronic apparatus includes: a chassis; a heating element; a cooling module having a fan, a heat sink, and a heat transport device, the cooling module being configured to cool the heating element. The heat sink includes: a base plate; a plurality of fins standing from the base plate and placed with a gap between the fins to define an air channel through which air from the air outlet flows; and an inclined plate dividing the air channel in two stages in the standing direction of the fins and being gradually inclined from upstream to downstream of the air channel.
Abstract: The invention provides a semiconductor package with a through silicon via (TSV) interconnect and a method for fabricating the same. An exemplary embodiment of the semiconductor package with a TSV interconnect includes a semiconductor substrate. A through hole is formed through the semiconductor substrate. A TSV interconnect is disposed in a through hole. A conductive layer lines a sidewall of the through hole, surrounding the TSV interconnect.
Abstract: A portable ironing press uses a compression spring to generate pressure between two pivotable plates for smoothing out a garment. The press includes a chain-and-gear arrangement to selectively apply the pressure of the spring to the plates.
Abstract: A press and in particular a garment press and method of making same are provided wherein such press has a support structure, a first member carried by the support structure and is adapted to support a workpiece, a second member carried by the support structure, an actuator for urging the second member toward the first member and against the workpiece to apply a pressing force thereagainst, and guide means operatively connected between the second member and the support structure for guiding the second member toward and away from the first member with the actuator and guide means cooperating to enable the actuator to apply the pressing force while keeping the support structure free of loads caused by the actuator.
Abstract: Steam ironing press comprising a movable upper plate equipped with a heating sole and a fixed lower plate, covered with a porous resilient pad which ensures the even distribution of steam over the garment to be ironed. The steam is supplied by a steam generator situated in the base of the apparatus. The upper plate is firmly pressed against the garment, under the effect of a spring which is also used to compensate for the weight of the upper plate when the press is open. The effect of the spring is reversed by the addition of a mechanical support controlled by a press-controlling lever.
Abstract: Ironing machine comprises a belt conveyor positioned above a stationary ironing plate, means for maintaining the relative horizontal positions of the plate and the conveyor, and means for raising the conveyor from the plate. There is unobstructed access to one side of the machine when the conveyor is in the lowered, operating position.
