Abstract: Receiving payment includes the establishment, at a first server, a transaction record including information identifying a payment amount, a first account to be credited by the payment amount, and a second account to be debited by a debit amount. A financial authorization network performs an authorization analysis on at least the second account. The second account is debited if the authorization analysis is successfully completed, and the first account is directly credited by the payment amount to conclude the transaction. Risk analysis may be performed for each individual. Payment is integrated with shipping.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for tuning a feedforward compensation parameter in a motion control system is provided. According to one such embodiment, the method includes the acts of determining an initial value of a feedforward compensation parameter and commanding an initial movement of an actuator according to a test motion routine (wherein the initial value of the parameter is used in the control of the actuator). Error associated with the initial movement is determined. A potential value of the feedforward compensation parameter is determined. A movement of the actuator is commanded according to the test motion routine (wherein the potential value of the parameter is used in the control of the actuator) and error associated with the movement is determined. The errors associated with the movements are compared and, based on the act of comparing the errors, one of the values is selected as a current best value. In a further embodiment, such acts are repeated until the current best value is an optimum value.
Abstract: An apparatus for heat pressing transfers onto substracts, such as cloth. The device has a horizontal table with a rocking member pivoted at an intermediate portion of a housing and extending from inside to the outside of the housing with a heater plate mounted on the upper end of the rocking member and adapted to engage the table. A cam is fixed to an output shaft within the housing and a ring is placed around the cam for being oscillated by the rotation of the cam, and connecting arms are connected between the ring and the rocking member. A pair of switch actuators is provided on the ring to engage a pair of limit switches for limiting the rotation of the drive shaft for the cam in opposite directions.
