Abstract: Present invention provides for self attachment of a sustainable fabric t-shirt bag to a usually stationary support frame by means of tabs that are secured across the midsection of the continuous integral looped handles that are laterally spaced and extending upward from the base. A hole is thereby created for the threading onto the rode supports of the check out frames. The four sides that project upwards from the base of said bag, form a front and back wall along with two sides created by a gusset, creating an open mouth between the bases of the pair of handles by which articles can be received, retained and carried within. This invention can replace the stacks of plastic grocery bags that are presently found on many store check out frames today and end up as liter all over our planet as garbage.

  • Patent number: 5748733
Abstract: Enhancements to a video anticopying process that causes an abnormally low amplitude video signal to be recorded on an illegal copy. The enhancements in one version introduce into the overscan portion of the television picture, just prior to the horizontal or vertical sync signals but in active video, a negative going waveform that appears to the television receiver or videotape recorder to be a sync signal, thereby causing an early horizontal or vertical retrace. One version provides (in the right overscan portion of the picture), a checker pattern of alternating gray and black areas which causes the TV set on which the illegal copy is played to horizontally retrace earlier than normal in selected lines with a consequential horizontal shift of the picture information on those lines. This substantially degrades picture viewability. In another version a gray pattern at the bottom overscan portion of the picture causes vertical picture instability.

Abstract: This invention relates to a process for making a tubular structure formed by a film of extruded synthetic matter whose walls are at least partially perforated, including the steps of extruding from an annular die a tubular film having gaps or voids obtained in manner known per se by teeth which temporarily obturate the outlet of said die, and extruding and forming the film on leaving the die after flow of matter in the plastic state, upstream of the die, in a ring-shaped passage of which the outlet constitutes the die, this passage being of constant thickness equal to the width of the extrusion slot and consequently to the final thickness of the film, the flow of plastic material in this ring-shaped passage causing an effect of lamination of the matter ensuring dimensional stability, particularly the thickness of the film obtained at the outlet of the die, and in particular avoiding the formation of excess thickness or surface roughness on the film thus extruded.

  • Patent number: 4646802
Abstract: A hamper bag is removably-mounted by a supporting base defined by a pair of opposing scissor-linkages. The hamper bag includes a pair of rods inserted through its upper lip, which rods are used to hold the hamper bag open on the supporting base by extending the rod-members over dowel-members interconnecting the upper portions of the pair of scissor-linkages, such that the rods are overhung relative to the dowel-members. The upper portions of the slats forming the scissor-linkages serve to prevent the removal of the sides and, therefore, the bag without first moving the rods away and up from the dowel-members to clear the dowel-members. The hamper bag may be carried separately or together with the collapsed supporting base.
