More specifically, the container includes a top portion that is configured to be partially torn from a body portion of the container to dispense the material. The container includes a reinforced side portion that resists tearing. The tear-resistive portion may incorporate a strand (or thread) that is significantly more difficult to tear, as compared to the container, itself. In an implementation, the container may includes two hollow portions—a first portion for storing material and a second portion for securing the resistive thread. The two hollow portions may be separated by a crimped portion of the container. In other implementations, front and rear portions of the container may be glued together to create the two hollow portions. Alternately, the lateral edges of the front and rear surfaces of the container may be fused to create the tear-resistive portion.

Abstract: A multi-compartment plastic bag suitable for collecting and retaining a quantity of refuse and a quantity of recyclable items. The multi-part bag provides longitudinal compartments for the receipt of refuse or recycling. The longitudinal compartments are each sealed on three sides with a fourth (top) edge open for the insertion of refuse/recycling. The multi-compartment bag is initially constructed as a single unit and may be separated into the multiple components along one or more perforated mid-seams. Grab handles may be formed near the upper edge through perforated cutouts. The multi-compartment bag is designed to be used in standard single compartment trash receptacles. The construction of the bag lends itself to manufacture in a continuous multilayer sheet with longitudinal sealed seams along each edge of the multilayered sheet and at least one partial longitudinal sealed seam along an interior line or mid-seam of the multi-layered sheet.

Abstract: A carry case is provided for a portable analyte measuring device, the carry case having opposing sides delimiting an interior space that is closed at one end and provided with an opening at the other end. According to certain embodiments of the present invention, the carry case is provided with an interior flap that is fastened at a distance from the closed end at one of the opposing sides and that can be swung from a first position in which a first side of the flap faces one of the opposing sides to a second position, in which the flap divides the interior space of the carry case and faces with the first flap side the closed end of the interior space.

Abstract: A cooling mat having a top sheet of a glossy vinyl material, a bottom sheet of a glossy vinyl material attached to the top sheet to provide a mat having a cavity located between the top and bottom sheets of glossy vinyl and a water/gel mixture located in the cavity between the top and bottom sheets of glossy vinyl. A cap and nozzle assembly is located on the top sheet of glossy vinyl material for passing the water/gel mixture into the cavity and fabric edging is located around the perimeter of the mat.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an aseptic pouch (1) for packaging food products, comprising two walls which are bonded together so as to define an internal space (2) which is sterilized and hermetically closed. The pouch (1) further comprises at least one sealing (7; 12) which joins together said walls, extending between opposite sides (5, 6) of the pouch, (1) and defines a neck portion (8) of said internal space (2) and two border portions (9) external to said internal space. Said neck portion (8) is suitable for providing, after opening of the pouch (1), an access to said internal space (2) and said border portions (9) are suitable for providing grips for handling said pouch. The invention also relates to a method for packaging a food product in said aseptic pouch (1).

In addition, the pocket is configured to close itself without need of any additional manipulation by the user. In one embodiment, a disposable plastic bag includes substantially transparent outer panels attached together to define a main compartment, an opening for accessing the main compartment, a main closure for selectively opening and closing the opening into the main compartment; and a plurality of internal panels attached to one of the outer panels to define a plurality of internal compartments separate from and accessible through the main compartment, the internal panels comprising closures for selectively opening and closing the respective internal compartments.

Abstract: A portable and sealable waste disposal receptacle receives human waste material through an opening in an outer chamber. The waste passes through an inner chamber, which is suspended within the outer chamber, and passes through a one-way valve located at the bottom of the inner chamber into a lower chamber portion of the outer chamber. The one-way valve is fashioned from the bottom edges of the inner chamber, where a biasing strip is mounted in compression along one of the bottom edges, which causes the bottom edges of the inner chamber to be biased closed in sealing contact except when waste enters the inner chamber, the weight of which is sufficient to overcome the closing bias of the biasing strip, allowing the waste to flow into the lower chamber. Once the waste has cleared the inner chamber, the biasing member causes the bottom edges to come together in sealing contact, preventing the flow of waste back through the inner chamber.

Abstract: A multi-compartment sleeved pouch comprising at least a first compartment having an opening thereto and an exclusive first wall, and a second compartment having an opening thereto and an exclusive second wall. The walls are independent of each other, with a portion of each wall juxtaposed and attached to each other along two opposing parallel borders thereof to thereby provide a sleeve passage between the first and second compartments. A connector can extend from the pouch for securement to an independent object. Also included in combination with the pouch is a pet restraining device such as a leash disposed through the sleeve passage and connected to a hand grip of the leash.

Abstract: A reusable bag with a fastening system is disclosed. The reusable bag having at least one panel, but typically having a first panel and a second panel with a first loop handle and a second loop handle, the first and second handles coupled with and extending from the first and second panels respectively. The fastening system of the reusable bag comprises at least one of, but typically both a first strap and a second strap. The first strap having one of a hook material and a loop material, while the second strap having another of the hook material. Further disclosed are a looped third strap of the fastening system and a pocket adapted to receive the first and second straps. Methods relating to the reusable bag and fastening system, such as a method comprising folding and/or rolling, stacking, wrapping, and securing one or more reusable bags are additionally described herein.

Abstract: The present device is a reusable bag for laundry and laundry hangers. The reusable bag includes an enclosure made from a flexible web material having an open end and a closed end. The open end has a closure means, while the closed end includes an aperture adapted to receive a portion of each laundry hanger therethrough. With the open end of the enclosure facing upward in a hamper configuration, dirty laundry may be collected and, when the bag is full, the open end of the enclosure may be selectively closed with the closure means. The reusable bag may be transported to a laundry cleaning facility by carrying with a handle strap, and returned with clean laundry hanging on the laundry hangers inside the enclosure. The closed end of the enclosure may be facing upward in a garment bag configuration for protecting the clean laundry.

Abstract: The presently disclosed subject matter is a novel adaptation of a pouch that enables the measurement and dispensing of unit doses of flowable products. Particularly, the disclosed pouch utilizes the addition of a separate section of film that separates the pouch into a main reservoir and a dispensing reservoir. The use of the dividing film allows the structural integrity of the pouch to remain intact. The dividing film also comprises an opening that allows communication between the two reservoirs to achieve dispensing of the flowable product.

Abstract: The invention provides a dual compartment pouch having first and second compartments that are separated from each other by an impervious inner sheet having a breathable membrane. The breathable membrane comprises a breathable material that is pervious to moisture and gases, and impervious to liquids as well as microorganisms. The breathable membrane allows a sterilizing gas to be introduced between the first and second compartments. The front and back sheets are sealed to the inner sheet to define the first and second compartments in which the inner sheet forms a common wall between the compartments. The breathable membrane is disposed towards a central portion of the inner sheet and is spaced apart from the seams joining the front and back sheets to the inner sheet. In one embodiment, a sterilized article is disposed in one compartment, and an absorbent packets are disposed in the other compartment.

Abstract: A collapsible and erectable organizer for holding bags and their contents, such as bags containing grocery items, upright during transport, such as in the trunk of a car. Abstract: The present invention provides a bag with a cooler compartment that can store perishable food or medicinal items with generous storage compartments in the interior and on the exterior front, back and sides of the bag. The cooler compartment is lined with thermal plastic lining to maintain cool temperature and is easily washable to clean up after spills. The cooler compartment is flexible and can be increased in size to accommodate larger items. Security features have been added to the bag, so that valuables can be carried safely in the padded exterior back compartments. All exterior and interior compartments feature quick access and ease of use through the use of double-headed zippers, which allow opening of the compartments in either direction. Abstract: A bag comprising a receptacle and first and second reclosable structures installed inside and across a mouth of the receptacle, the first and second reclosable structures being parallel and spaced apart from each other. At least portions of the first and second reclosable structures bound a passageway within the mouth of the receptacle when the first and second reclosable structures are in fully closed states. The receptacle comprises a vent that is in flow communication with an interior volume of the receptacle via the passageway when both the vent and the first reclosable structure are in at least partially open states. If, while the first and second reclosable structures are in fully closed states, the pressure inside the interior volume is increased sufficiently, the first reclosable structure will open at least partly to allow gas from the interior volume to escape into the passageway while the second reclosable structure remains in a fully closed state.
