  • Patent number: 11951525
Abstract: For producing a welded ring, a band of a length corresponding to the circumference of the ring is bent into a ring and its two ends are welded together. The band ends to be welded together have an offset in the circumferential direction of the ring, the offset lying in the plane of the band. The welding is performed from both lateral edges of the ring, from the outside to the inside up to the offset. Welding having an overall improved welding quality and a higher tensile strength is thus obtained.

Abstract: A needle roller bearing comprises an outer ring having a plurality of outer ring members split by split lines extending in an axial direction of the bearing, a plurality of needle rollers arranged on an orbit surface of said outer ring so that they can roll thereon, and a cage holding the needle rollers at intervals. The outer ring member has a projection serving as a positioning engaging part which engages with a housing for positioning, and an engaging click protruding from an axial end of the outer ring member inward along a diameter to prevent the cage from moving in an axial direction, in positions shifted from its circumferential center.

  • Patent number: 7828485
Abstract: The clearance between the outer peripheral surface of an annular portion of a cage and the inner peripheral surface of each of rib portions of outer-ring split pieces is set to be smaller than the clearance between the radial end surface of a projection portion of the cage and the inner peripheral surface of each of body portions of the outer-ring split pieces. When a centrifugal force due to engine rotation acts upon the cage, the inner peripheral surface of each of the rib portions of the outer-ring split pieces touches the outer peripheral surface of the annular portion of the cage before the inner peripheral surface of each of the body portions of the outer-ring split pieces touches the radial end surface of the projection portion of the cage. Thus, the radial displacement of the cage can be prevented in good time.

Abstract: A bearing apparatus includes: two split outer ring halves which are mounted to the housing; a plurality of rolling elements which are provided so as to roll on the two split outer ring halves; and a cage which holds the rolling elements such that the rolling elements are disposed at substantially equal intervals in a circumferential direction of the cage and which is split at a position of the cage to form joint surfaces, an outside diameter of the cage being guided by inner circumferential surfaces of the split outer ring halves. An outside diametrical dimension in a normal direction to the joint surfaces is made larger than an outside diametrical dimension of the cage in a direction parallel to the joint surface, and vicinity of an outside diametrical position of the cage lying in the normal direction is made to be guided by the outer ring halves.

Abstract: The invention relates to a double-row angular contact anti-friction bearing having a split outer bearing ring, a one-piece inner bearing ring, and anti-friction bodies located in two rows between the two rings. The outer bearing ring is split axially into two individual rings. To permit simple, reliable and secure transport of the bearing, the individual outer bearing rings are interconnected by a connecting element in a positive fit that allows play and the outer surfaces of the individual rings have at least one recess, which is spanned by the connecting element. At least the recess of an individual ring has a groove, in which a hook element on the connecting element engages in a positive fit and the individual rings can be twisted in relation to one another.

  • Patent number: 5971622
Abstract: A divided type aligning rolling bearing comprises a spherical groove of a lower bearing housing for slidably receiving an outer peripheral surface in a spherical shape of an outer ring lower member. A dowel pin is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the outer ring lower member and fitted in a recess provided on the bottom of the spherical groove of the lower bearing housing so as to have a backlash. The range of the backlash is an aligning range. The outer ring lower member is rotated around the dowel pin, thereby causing both ends of the outer ring lower member to escape from the spherical groove. In order to allow the escape, the lower bearing housing is in a non-rib shape. The outer ring lower member is brought into a detachable state by changing the posture thereof in a stable state.
